About this house rental

4 bed / 3.5 bath home. Sleeps 10. Master: 1 King. 2nd bedroom: 1 Queen. 3rd bedroom: 1 Queen. Upstairs loft bedroom: 2 Queens. 2 dogs allowed, $25 per day per dog. MUST BE 25 TO RENT. Renter's ID and Credit Card must be presented at check in or via email. Rental agreement must be signed.

Beautiful, unique 4-bedroom 3.5 bath in a quiet residential neighborhood on Lake Dunlap. Direct and exclusive access to the widest section of the lake. Wonderful patio and covered deck area are perfect for relaxing and offer unmatched water views to enjoy by the propane fire pit. A great place to relax and enjoy a glass of wine or your morning coffee. A gas grill and plenty of outdoor seating are also provided. The unique layout and spacious rooms are ideal for family vacations. Just minutes from New Braunfels Downtown area, Gruene & Schlitterbahn. Spend the day on the lake and use the 2 kayaks provided for your enjoyment. Or play cornhole or ladder ball while enjoying the fabulous lake view. Fenced in yard for your fur friends! 2 dogs under 40 lbs. allowed. $25 per day per pet.

The open concept kitchen and oversized doors and windows allow guests unobstructed views of Lake Dunlap. Unwind in the comfortable living room with Wi-Fi, large flat screen Smart TV and lots of seating areas with games for those family nights or rainy days. Fully equipped kitchen with all the comforts of home. Take advantage of the stove top range that opens to the bar top dining area and views of the lake. The dining room, just off the full-size kitchen, can seat 6 guests for a fun morning brunch or an intimate evening dinner.

The master bedroom has a king bed, Smart TV and en suite bathroom with a deep soaking tub and walk in shower. The master has French doors that open to the porch and lake views. The 2nd bedroom has a queen bed with an en suite full bathroom with a tub/shower combo. The 3rd bedroom has a queen bed. The guest bathroom is conveniently located off the kitchen/living area with a walk-in shower. The upstairs loft has 2 queen beds, Smart TV, doors opening to a small patio overlooking the lake, and a half bath. All bedrooms have Smart TVs. Washer and dryer available. This property has room to park 4-6 vehicles in the driveway depending on size. Host must be 25 years of age or older to make a reservation and must be staying at the property.

NO smoking indoors, NO parties. No street parking is available, and no parking in the alley beside the house at any time. No campers or RVs allowed. Trailers must be parked in the driveway. No portable grills or open flames. Family friendly home in a residential neighborhood – please be respectful to the neighbors. This house has a maximum occupancy of 10 guests. This maximum occupancy is not to be exceeded at any time. No daytime guests allowed. To comply with city and county short-term rental permit restrictions, the outdoor areas of this home are monitored by video camera. The house is on the water and has regular pest service, but an occasional bug may be spotted. This property includes accidental damage protection up to $1,500.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed the home and stay. The one bathroom for bedroom up front was awkwardly placed away from the room right next to another room but other than that everything was great. It was well equipped and the lake itself is really nice. Loved the patios and great furnishings for party of 10. The courtyard convenient for the pups. I would recommend that they add a separate ice maker to keep up with demand as the one on the fridge was crazy slow. We did wash clothes and the set worked well. I used my own detergent so unsure there. We used a puzzle and that was nice touch.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were very thankful the rain held off for our stay so wewere able to enjoy floating in front of the house. The location is great! Once you make your way down the steps into the yard you are like 25 ft from the water. Having a relaxing time is easy with such a nice view.

Plenty of space, fenced yard for our dogs, kayaks, fishing, swimming, fire pit all at our fingertips. Drinking coffee on the back porch as the sun comes up then watching the boats on the water. Total relaxation but not far from town to go, do, or get what we needed.

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of this home is beautiful and the outdoor space is amazing. The bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect for our family of 7 adults and one child. It has a large kitchen that has all the amenities needed.However, we were not pleased with the management company. It started with a text from the company--not Vrbo. I didn't realize that the communication would come from a third party and not Vrbo. The text was confusing and I was suspicious because it had a different address from the property we had booked. The house was not clean. There was a layer of dust and dirt on the dishes-so much so that I needed to run them all in the dishwasher before using them. The floors felt gritty on our feet. We arrived in the afternoon and were excited to use the fire pit while we sat outdoors, but the propane tank was empty. Although being told we might need to refill the tank for the grill, we assumed the fire pit would be ready to use since we paid for the use of the porch and house.The lack of dishwasher pods and garbage bags is laughable. We stayed 4 nights and were given 2 dishwasher pods and 2 garbage bags. We were asked to run the dishwasher before leaving. Please leave enough pods to actually do that.We tried to watch a movie on the "smart TV" using our own signin on the streaming services, but it is limited to one user, so we weren't able to login and watch what we wanted.Finally, the many rules and potential fines posted throughout the house to made us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. So, I again say that the house was fine, but we were not happy with the cleanliness, the lack of basic supplies, and the communication from the management company who operates this home.

The property fit our family group very well. It is well appointed with everything needed in the kitchen. The TV channel access was a challenge but that may have been user error. The water pressure in the kitchen sink and refrigerator door was really strong and got water all over the person using it but master bathe shower was very slow. Other than those minor issues, we enjoyed the property and recommend it.
