The Keep is perfectly set in the delightful spa town of Ilkley. Recently renovated in 2023, The Keep boasts the luxuries of a new build within a statuesque, Victorian mid-terrace property. The owners have given it the love and attention it deserves, and made it a fantastic holiday retreat for couples with no expense spared, meaning guests are ensured of perfection throughout. You enter the property into the kitchen/dining area which is a modern and stylish space. The kitchen is well-equipped and well-presented, and has all the necessities should you not wish to dine out at the many superb eateries close by.
The living area on the first floor has a comfortable sofa which is great to snuggle up on in front of the Smart TV. A lovely feature of the property is the balcony leading from the living room, giving you a great place to sit back and relax whilst enjoying a well-deserved glass of fizz in the summer sun. On the second floor, you have a beautifully furnished and decorated bedroom which offers a plush double bed with fresh cotton linen, guaranteeing a perfect night’s sleep after exploring this wonderful town centre and stunning countryside which surrounds Ilkley. On the top floor of the property is the gorgeous bathroom which presents a freestanding bath which is perfect for a long relaxing soak.
With the property situated on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, The Keep is perfectly located for exploring the beautiful local countryside. There are many walks straight from your door and cycling is very popular in the area. For those seeking to be less active, meander through the town with its variety of shops, cafés, restaurants, pubs and the legendary local café tea rooms, where afternoon tea is a must. Bolton Abbey is just a short drive away offering plenty of walking within the magnificent 30,000-acre grounds and picture-perfect picnic spots beside the river. The charming market town of Skipton, also known as the ‘gateway to the Dales’, is also 20 minutes’ away and is home to an ancient castle, cobbled high street and colourful street market. There is also golf nearby if you wanted to pack your clubs for a round of 18.
