We stayed at this quiet, fun place to get out of the Phoenix heat August 9-19, 2024. The grandkids and the dogs had a great time romping around in the large, fenced yard. It was very relaxing to sit out on the patio and watch as we were visited by many elk and small deer throughout the day. We gave the house a 5 star for cleanliness even though an unusual mix-up occurred and the place had not been cleaned when we arrived. We called owner Deon who had relatives come and clean the place very well while my family went out to dinner. Deon was very apologetic and more than made up for the mistake by compensating us very generously for our trouble. Communication with Deon was great both before and throughout our stay. The home is laid out very nicely and we did not feel cramped even though we had nine people and two dogs staying there at times. The appliances, AC, and grill all worked fine. We have stayed many places in Pine and this is our favorite. We will definitely stay here again.
