Bungalow très propre, salle de bain fonctionnelle avec une douche toute neuve
Johnny était très accessible et nous a conseillé sur les activités à faire aux alentours
Possibilité de louer des scooters à la journée, de louer des kayaks pour se promener dans la mangrove
Nous y sommes restés 3 nuits mais si nous avions pu, nous aurions réservé une nuit de plus

If you like to get to know rural life. How a fishing village operates, this is your place to go. This is not a place to party goers or luxury tourism. But if you’re interested in getting to know how locals live, if you wanna enjoy a cabin for ecotourism, this is your place! I loved every minute and I plan to come back! The host also arranges for you to go sightseeing and support local fishing children’s education.
This stay has made my trip of eight months in south east Asia magical!it’s also very safe for solo female travelers.

De ligging was perfect. Tussen de lokale bevolking aan het water. Erg rustig en hele fijne sfeer. Zit aan rustige kant van het eiland. Prachtige stranden op 5 tot 10 minuten rijden afstand. De host is erg behulpzaam. Stuurt je regelmatig berichten over wat er allemaal te doen is. Scooters en Kayakken staan klaar voor gebruik! Ook 1 snorkelset!. De Bungalow is ouderwetse stijl. Douchen doe je vanuit een grote emmer waar een kleine emmer in ligt. Deze giet je over jezelf heen. Ik moet zeggen dat ik het heerlijk vond. Je bespaart water en het water is wat koud wat ik heerlijk vond met de hitte. Boven het bed hangt een ventilator.. meer als zat om goed te slapen. Heb geen 1 nacht moeite met de hitte gehad. Al met al 1 topper voor mij
Niks, want het was naar mijn verwachtingen. Geen luxe maar dat zie je al vanuit de foto's. Dus je weet wat je krijgt en vanuit mijn perspectief: ik hou ervan.

5 nuits en bungalow sur l’eau dans la mangrove, le calme loin des touristes de masse et à quelques minutes des très belles plages en scooter. Le scooter nous l’avons loué au débarcadère à long set beach et l’avons rendu à cet endroit pour embarquer. Nous avons utilisé le canoë de prêt sur la rivière accompagnés de la loutre qui suivait le bateau. Au cœur d’un village de pêcheurs où nous avons été bien accueillis par les voisins.Johney est très sympathique il nous a aidé pour réserver nos transports.
Un beau séjour que nous ne sommes pas prêts d’oublier hors des sentiers battus. La SDB certes rudimentaire mais efficace, Wc et eau froide. Le grand lit confortable. Très peu de moustiques. Ventilateur.

Duschen mit Eimer ist etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber kein Kritikpunkt. Ist in den Bildern beim Buchen beschrieben, also man weiß, worauf man sich einlässt ;)

There wasn´t breakfast provided. Just accommodation. A simple wooden bungalow in a local authentic fishermen village, what was very much appreciated, far from tourist area and beach parties. Ideal for having a good and peaceful sleep.
Very friendly local people, providing a good laundry service. Nearby some shops for daily needs and a few restaurants with delicious food. Also possible: rent a motorcycle. The owners are extraordinary welcoming and friendly.
They are very much trying to maintain the authentic Khmer culture in the village. Therefore, they are looking for guests, who can tolerate their culture, that means: keeping the place clean and tidy, no parties etc.
I spent very nice holidays in Friends of Nature Bungalows, however, the surrounding water was often polluted with garbage: plastic bags, plastic bottles etc.
But this is in general a problem in all South East Asian countries.

L'hôte était incroyable, très gentil et accomodant. Il nous a même aidés pendant le reste de notre séjour sur l'île, alors que nous avions quitté Friends of Nature. Le village est charmant, calme, accueillant. Les bungallows sont mignons, avec les pieds directement dans les mangroves. Un paradis !
Il faut savoir qu'il n'y a pas de wifi ni d'eau courante, mais tout est bien arrangé pour que cela reste confortable. Les voyageurs cherchant la simplicité et un retour aux sources trouveront leur compte.

We stayed in the bungalow for 4 nights. It's great value for money. You'll get to experience basic life. There is mosquito net in the bungalows but be prepared to fight them once outside of net. Signal is very good so you can use sim card Internet. Johney is super helpful. He arranged a tul tuk to pick us up from Long Beach pier. He rented us scooter for $7 per day which is a good price. We had free snorkeling masks, kayak and even bat and ball to play on the beach. Johnny is always available if you have a question, he speaks very good English and is very welcoming.
Maybe there can be a net on bathroom windows to prevent mosquitos from coming in.

Great location, you can rent scooters which you will need anyways to get around the island. Very calm and authentic experience in newly built bungalows, they sit on the water in a quiet fishing village. You'll meet more locals than tourists in this area and there are some great options nearby for local food and even restaurants. Johney is also really friendly and welcoming.
There is a fan but it gets very hot in the morning.

Wer eine authentisches Erfahrung inmitten eines Einheimischen Fischerdorfes fernab von Hotels und Touristenattraktionen und ein einfaches Leben sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Da das Haus auf Stelzen in den Mangroven steht, stattete mir ein Fischotter einen Besuch ab. Erwarte keinen Luxus aber dafür ein tolles Abenteuer ! Der Host ist sehr gastfreundlich and gerne bereit, dir alles zu zeigen und zu erklären
Wie fast überall in Kambodscha, gibt es auch hier ein Müllproblem in der Umgebung und an den Stränden. Dafür kann der Host nichts. Ich würde mir wünschen, dass Touristen diesbezüglich mehr Verantwortung übernehmen
