About this house rental
Welcome to Quaint Mid-Century Cottage By The Coast! This remodeled, quaint, Mid-Century home is located approximately 5 miles (10 minutes) from the Ventura Harbor, Ventura State Beach & The Ventura Pier. This home has been designed to provide peace and sanctuary during your stay in Ventura. It is roomy enough for 8 guests or families w/children. Perfect for tourists, business travelers or lodging for extra family members who are visiting for your special events!

THE SPACE
***Please read this entire Listing thoroughly before booking!***
This 1000 sq. ft. home includes:
- 3 Bedrooms: 1 King size bed, 1 Full size bed and 2 Twin beds. All beds have Memory Foam mattresses. Each Bedroom is equipped with built-in light, ceiling fans. Two of the bedrooms are also equipped with flat screen, smart TV's. There is also a spare Queen size, motorized Air Mattress for 2 extra guests, located in the twin closet.
- A stocked kitchen with pots, pans, utensils, dishes, cups, microwave oven, a Keurig coffee maker, a fire extinguisher, microwave, stove & oven and a new refrigerator with water dispenser & ice maker and more.
- A cozy living room with a Mid-Century vibe which includes: a massage chair, comfortable sectional sofa, 1 side chair and a 65” Flat Screen Roku Smart TV with Wifi access. (Please note: “cable” for live TV is built into the smart TV. It just works differently from the standard cable platform by accessing it using the Input button on the TV remote control.)
- A Dining room with a dining table and 6 chairs.
- 1 Full bathroom with a tub, shower, 1 sink and toilet. It's also stocked with a hair dryer, towels, soap, shampoo and body wash.

GUEST ACCESS
The entire house, driveway and back/front yards are accessible EXCEPT for: the garage, 1 linen closet and 2 kitchen cabinets. The front door is controlled by a Smart Lock which requires a Door Code to access the house that will be provided to you.
Other things to note:
1.) This Mid-Century house is built on a raised foundation and is situated on a slightly steep hill. Therefore, there will be stairs on the front of the house and on the side of the house which will NOT deem this house wheelchair friendly. Also, the front stairs do NOT have handrails, so guests must proceed with caution.
2.) There will be a Welcome Book in the house on top of the coffee table. It will include: the WiFi password, a House Manual with the House Rules, places to see or visit and restaurant recommendations.
3.) The MAXIMUM lodging/sleeping occupancy for this house is for: 8 people (infants/babies not included.) This is mandated by the city of Ventura = 2 guests for each bedroom + 2 extra guests. Any more than 8 people sleeping at the property will be a violation of the city rules and will be cause for immediate eviction. Of course, visitors are allowed to visit, but not to lodge or sleep there.
4.) There is no Air Conditioner in the house. But most of the time, there is a breeze that goes through the house when the screen door is used and when windows are opened. Also, there are ceiling fans in each bedroom, dining room and in the living room which are sufficient enough for Ventura's temperate Beach climate. (During the spring and summer, the average temperature in Ventura ranges between 60 degrees to 78 degrees Fahrenheit with low humidity.) However, Ventura County in general, does not have extreme weather conditions. So you will definitely enjoy your stay in one of California's best Beach cities!
5.) There is room for 3 cars in the driveway and there is also street parking in front of the home.
