Be one of the first to stay at this new designer home in the heart of Port Isabel! Ideal for families and groups, this modern custom home has everything: heated pool, BBQ, patio, open-concept kitchen and living, full size washer/dryer, 65" TV, king-size ensuite with desk, and bunk beds. Located across the bay from South Padre Island (SPI), you can experience the best of both worlds: the tranquility of the bay and the excitement of the beach. This is a non-smoking and pet-free property.

The Space:
Welcome to your coastal getaway, where you can enjoy the best of both worlds: the tranquility of the bay and the excitement of the beach. This new duplex A is the perfect space for leisure and work, ideal for surfers, families, and anyone looking for a relaxing vacation.

YOUR SPACE: This spacious and modern unit has 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The king-sized primary bedroom features an extra-large executive desk, vintage dresser and large smart TV, and a gorgeous ensuite bathroom with a walk-in closet. The queen-size second bedroom showcases a second private workspace and a full-size closet with French doors. The third bedroom boasts two sets of bunk beds (4 beds total) with two dressers and a walk-in closet for ample storage space. Both bathrooms are equipped with luxurious modern fixtures, plenty of storage, and a spacious walk-in glass shower. The secondary bathroom also has a full size stackable washer dryer.

This kitchen has everything: quartz countertops and travertine backsplash, an undermount sink with pull-down faucet/sprayer, all new stainless appliances (gas oven and stove, garbage disposal, full fridge, and dishwasher), and ample storage space behind the light ash cabinets. Dine on the leather stools at the kitchen island or at the adjacent vintage dining area. The connecting living space boasts soaring ceilings with exposed cedar beams, a smart ceiling fan, extra comfy leather sofa, and a 65" smart TV.

THE PROPERTY: Please note that Casa Cactus A is one of three units in a private home. Your space is entirely your own, however you may be next door to other guests. Casa Cactus B is a 2 bed 2 bath space, and Casa Cactus C is a 1 bed 1 bath space. Please contact us directly if you are interested in renting the entire house for large groups.

INDOOR AMENITIES: we provide all bed linens, shower towels and pool towels, dishware, cookware, bath gels, and coffee + tea. Coffee maker is a stainless Cuisinart drip machine. We provide two different high-speed wifi networks with Spectrum. There are remote controlled ceiling fans in each room, and our air conditioning is connected to a Nest system which can be controlled from the smart thermostat on the wall.

OUTDOOR AMENITIES: Had a long day? Enjoy the sunsets from our patio chairs overlooking our cactus garden. Going fishing? Cook up your catch at our outdoor charcoal grill or enjoy drinks at our outdoor dining area. Charcoal is not included, but all grilling tools are. Had a blast of a beach day? Rinse off at the two outdoor showers located on the right side of the house before letting your cares float away in our brand new heated swimming pool, or work on your tan at our poolside lounge space. Please note that all outdoor amenities are shared amongst guests of Casa Cactus A, B, and C.

LOCATION: This home is in a quiet neighborhood in Port Isabel, Texas. We are next door to a local park with a walking track, playground, and basketball court. Grocery stores are 1 mile away and we are a 2 minute drive from the bay-front restaurants in Port Isabel and the entrance to the bridge that connects Port Isabel to South Padre Island. The benefit of staying in Port Isabel is the tranquility of the bay and also access to the shops in the mainland without needing to deal with the noise or traffic on the Island, however you are just a few minutes drive from all the excitement and fireworks. There is a free shuttle bus that will take you from Port Isabel to the beach.

THINGS TO DO: Everything. Surfing, fishing, go-karts, zip-lines, mini-golf, horseback riding, waterpark, boogie boarding, tacos and margaritas, beachside and bayside restaurants and cafes, sunset cruises, and of course miles and miles of soft sand. Guest Access:
ENTRANCE AND PARKING: There is parking for two vehicles on the gravel driveway in front of the house to the left of the walkway, and additional street parking in front of the house for additional vehicles.

KEYS & SECURITY: We utilize smart locks for all of our properties. No need to worry about keys, as you will receive a unique access code for your stay, to be released on the day of your check-in. Simply punch in the code on the door and you will be able to enter and leave as you please. We also have security cameras monitoring the parking lot and front doors of all units.

The Neighborhood:
Port Isabel is a charming city in the southern tip of Texas, with a rich history and a scenic location on the Laguna Madre Bay. It is a popular destination for fishing, boating, birdwatching, and enjoying the coastal views.

The Port Isabel Lighthouse, quite close to this property, is located on the eastern tip of the city, where Texas Highway 100 meets the Queen Isabella Causeway that connects to South Padre Island.

Port Isabel is a diverse and vibrant city that offers something for everyone.

Getting Around:
A local park is just 500 feet away from the house. A Free shuttle bus stops at this park and takes guests between Port Isabel and South Padre Island.

Other Things to Note:
We provide all guests with two complimentary bottles of water upon arrival, however we recommend guests to also purchase water during their stay, as the tap water can have a high salt content.
