The house itself was big and accommodated us for sleeping purposes.

We booked this trip 6 months in advance and the day we booked we requested to check in at 11am. Upon arrival we received a text that said when will you be here and we stated 11 am. We never received any confirmation. When we showed up and used the pin we were denied access. We then used the contact number and reached a woman, her name wasn’t given from the beginning of the phone call was extremely rude. She stated they denied the 11am check in and we couldn’t check in until 5pm but we never received any notification of that. We were very upset at the fact they didn’t try to make any accommodations like letting us in at 2 or 3 seeing we were at the site already. Had I received notification of the denial in time I would have cancelled. Seeing most hotels allow check in between 2-3pm. We feel that the 5pm check-in and 10 am check out we lost a whole day of the house. Cameras are all around the property so they knew we were there. Needless to say we left and when we returned to the property at 5pm we were still unable to get in. We had to contact them again. This time we spoke to a man who was much easier to deal with. He stated he was driving and requested we wait 15 minutes so he could send over the information. It didn’t happen that way. We had to text him several times before the information was received. We didn’t get into the house until 5:35pm. They had a neighbor/friend who was coming switching cars at all times of the day and night. Due to that we felt like we had no privacy at all. Cameras were even pointed toward the bbq area where you sit making us feel like we were being watched whenever we went outside. The experience has me thinking about never renting a house again. We noticed some things around the house that need to be fixed and also reported on the site to inform customers of existing damage. We were also uncomfortable as we had to text the owner to adjust the temperature in the house. At night it was completely uncomfortable
