We have stayed at numerous vacation rentals over the years that we have booked through different online portals. We were familiar with the Roslyn Ridge neighborhood, and the amenities it offered, before booking our stay. So we were happy with the location, the neighborhood, and having access to the pool. The overall size of the home and the rooms worked for our family of 4. What was disappointing was the overall upkeep of the property. I understand that full time vacation rentals may not always be in top shape, but this one was disappointing. There were weeds everywhere, and it looked like the exterior landscaping had not been touched in quite awhile. Inside, the bath rugs were dirty, some of the roll up shades didn't work (Bad idea for a window covering), bathroom lock was broken, the ice maker didn't work, twin beds in the loft my kids utilized felt very flimsy, there were wets sheets left in the dryer that we had to dry and fold, etc. With the amount of money we spent to stay there for a week, we had different expectations. Having televisions in each individual bedroom could be helpful to other guests in the future. -Paul

The view and the location was fabulous. The home needs a lot of TLC. We had several issues. A couple were issues resolved during our stay. The others definitely needed WORK. Tanya Savage was wonderful to work with!! She is the reason for the high ratings! She helped deal with our issues as promptly as practical!

For a house that sleeps 10, the kitchen is tiny with virtually no counter space and a table that only seats 6. We were left 1 kitchen towel that was dirty. There were wet towels and sheets left in the dryer. The yard was full of overgrown weeds and the hot tub full of sand. There are no window coverings on the upper windows in the living room and with southern exposure, the sun coming in can be blinding. One of the blinds in the living room was broken and permanently in the closed position. Leftover dried out pepperoni was found in the drawer below the oven as well as a very dirty pan. The house comes up as a 4 bedroom on VRBO but is actually only 3 bedrooms with a loft open to the kitchen / living area below (although, the description does list this). Beds were decent though and the kids loved playing foosball!

I stayed here with some friends to enjoy the snow and scenery, and it was wonderful. The place was clean, as advertised, and very comfortable. The hot tub + the view was incredible! The host left clear instructions and was responsive. Overall, a wonderful experience.

Cabin has a great layout for traveling with friends and children. Safe neighborhood close to summit and other local activities. Hot tub with views of mountain range sets it apart from other cabins nearby. Would definitely rent again!

Eight of us (from age 12 to 75) plus dogs stayed at The Overlook at the end of December. Great WiFi, nice new place AND a hot tub. Had a great time: lots of bedrooms and bathrooms (including a jacuzzi tub in one), very comfortable place. Sneha was responsive in answering us when we had questions. The dining room table had only 6 chairs, but we were able to squeeze in another two. Appliances worked well and as an added bonus there was a cozy coffee corner. We had SO MUCH snow (which is what we came for) and we really enjoyed ourselves.

We had a great first visit here. Beautiful location with beautiful views. Rental was very clean, well-stocked. Included everything we needed in the kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom. Absolutely met our needs. The owner is very friendly, kind and accommodating! Sneha would check in on our family and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay.
