The space
The 4th bedroom is a bunk room and not private.

BOAT SLIP!!! Need I say more? With a quick, flat 5 minute walk to the boat dock, it will be easy to access your water toys anytime you want.

Guest access
Guests will have access to all areas of the cabin except the garage which is locked for owner's storage, a game room closet and a hallway closet.
Other things to note
Bass Lake is AWESOME!!! Whether you are young or just young at heart there is so much to do here. Walk, swim, hike, the Market is close, there is bakery for your donut/cinnamon roll craving, boating, fishing, jetsking, kayaking, floating, great restaurants and shops. It's all here. You can relax in the mountains without having to go camping and 'rough it'.

This was a great spot for us to stay at! There are plenty of beds. Location is great, short walk to the market and restaurants. We really liked the walk to the dock to watch the sunsets. The backyard had plenty of space for us to have our family dinners.

Nice place. Liked that it included boat slip. Didn't like that there were no extra paper towels, kitchen towels, trash bag liners, wraps, foils, etc. I would have brought my own if I had known ahead.

This is the first time I stayed at the Semper Fi. The amenities were great! The layout was great! Some spent time playing pool and while others were playing board/card games and watching Netflix movies. Very relaxing. We were bummed that the Pines wouldn’t sell us day passes to use the pool and unfortunately, didn’t make it to the lake in time for decent parking but all in all had a GREAT time! I would highly suggest Semper Fi!

We had a total of 13 guests, ranging from age 4 - 68 stay at the home for 7 days. The home was big enough and spread out enough that we never felt crowded or cramped up. Location was good as well, a little over 5 min walk to the pines village and about the same distance to the dock. We were able to watch the fireworks from the dock, which made our trip complete. There were some minor issues but the owner quickly took care of them. Home is fully stocked with everything that you may need. The pool table was a hit as well. There was a heat wave (triple digits) all week, but the homes AC kept up the whole time and we never were uncomfortable. Thanks again to the Semper Fi family, and thank you for your service.

From the moment we arrived until the bittersweet departure, every element of our stay at this lakeside retreat was infused with comfort, charm, and the unmistakable touch of genuine care. First and foremost, our host deserves a standing ovation. Their dedication to ensuring our experience was unforgettable was evident from the initial booking inquiry to the heartfelt farewell. Not only were they prompt and accommodating in their communication, but Rachel went above and beyond to personalize our stay, catering to every whim and fancy. As for the VRBO itself, it was a true gem. Tucked away in a serene corner of Bass Lake, the house exuded a cozy ambiance that instantly made us feel at home. Spacious yet intimate, the interior was tastefully decorated with a rustic charm that perfectly complemented the natural beauty of the surroundings. The attention to detail was impeccable, with every amenity carefully curated to ensure maximum comfort and convenience. Tons of beds to accomodate the singles and the couples! Definitely will be back! and you should too!

The house is extremely clean and well maintained. The property manager was very good to communicate with....I messaged her numerous times before our trip w/various questions and she always got right back to me. I didn't give full stars as to the accuracy of the listing because from the listing, I had the impression that the house was on the lake w/the slip immediately outside. It would have been good if it was made clear that the slip is a distance away. It worked out fine, but wasn't what I expected. Would definitely go back though.

This house is great for big groups! There was plenty of space for 3 families of 4 to enjoy just hanging at the house. The house is in easy walking distance to the boat slip as well as the shops and marina. Our host was attentive and responsive. Also, she was understanding when we couldn't get back to her quickly due to the expected spotty cell sevice. We will absolutley try to stay here again in the future!!!

Loved the cabin and the layout. The boat dock was nice. It would have been nice if the backyard had been swept or blown off and the tables wiped down. Also we found a few spiders and webs inside. Overall I would stay again.

This is a great Bass Lake neighborhood and very nice big roomy home. Very nice Lake house/cabin interior! Only issue was the trash outside on the street when I arrived (which I picked up) and backyard barbecue is pretty bad. Everything else was great.

Lovely area and home. It’s Bass Lake so can’t really go wrong. I’d give it a 5 but for the cost, expect more. You can tell this is just turn and burn. Appliances broken. Drains and plumbing issues. Broken lights. Bear cans got trashed every night. Some basic up keep and a small investment and it’d be a better rating. If you’re choosing this place because of the private boat dock and proximity just know it’s a bit misleading. It’s a good quarter mile. It’s not right there. Lots of parking though for a tight area. Neighborhood is lovely. A/C was good for a heater of a week. Great upstairs room to throw all the kids together.

Nice summer vacation. Loved the large cabin style house. The game room was lots of fun as well. Everything in the house was clean upon arrival. Easy check in and out. Over all a great stay. Would definitely recommend this property.

We reserved this property for a girls weekend and it was perfect. The kitchen was fully stocked, we ate every night on the patio under the lights and sleeping arrangements were easy. The house was easy to find and Julie was super responsive. Everything was very clean and well maintained, lots of fun decorations for lake living. Would definitely rent this property again.

We enjoyed our stay at this house--owner Julie was very accomodating and nice. The best part was the backyard that had 2 nice size tables and chairs as well as a picnic table. It had strings of lights which made it great for entertaining. We were at a family wedding on Friday, so we had all family members still in town over for dinner on Saturday. There were 24 of us and having that space worked out great! The only down side was the linen and cleaning fees seemed very high.

We had a great time, the house had plenty of space for our group of friends. We all enjoyed the pool table and the day we rented a boat for lake time was so much fun. Our day trip to Yosemite was a long drive to the valley but so amazing once we got there.

To begin with our initial contact with Julie was prompt and friendly and she quickly answered important questions I had to help us make our choice for two families to share a Memorial Weekend vacation. We were bringing our boat so one of the initial reasons we chose this rental was the dedicated slip. Be sure to get specific directions on how to get to the boat slip. We arrived and started searching with the directions found in the cabin but got a little lost. Because Julie was so responsive I knew if I asked on the VBRO app I would hear back and she emailed a step by step guide to walk our way to the boat slip. The cabin has just enough retro touches in the bathrooms to to take you back a few decades but an updated kitchen to allow you to prep food and serve a group. As for the kitchen we found it had most of what we needed. My one complaint is with all the skillets and cooking utensils we were struggling to find one good skillet. It would have been nice to have a newer skillet or pan to cook in. Also the cheese grater while fun and retro was not something I would use. I like the supply of dishwasher pods and counter and pantry space as we brought 2 families and everyone had space for their food. I was a little surprise the 3rd bedroom with a king bed was in the bunk room so it would have proved a little challenging if we had another couple but for the 2 families it worked. There is plenty of sleeping space and the bed we slept in was ridiculously comfortable. I have back issues and am always challenged to find a bed in a vacation rental that is that comfortable so a huge kudos for that. On the flip side I would have liked more towels or access to a washer. We were there 4 nights and had to ration our towel use. I did appreciate the bath soap and shampoo and hand soap at all of the sinks. The game room is great and fun for all. We brought our own board games but I think it would have been nice to have a few board games or dvds. It rained the first day we were there and those are nice Vaca options in a rental. The dining area is a great staging spot for food and drinks or communal dining. We are outside a few times and really appreciate the outdoor lighting and generous amount of chairs and places to sit. They have charcoal grills which we usually don’t use but the taste of a charcoal grilled meal was fun. The walk to the market is convenient and it’s a quiet relaxing street. Our whole group was pleased.

Plenty of space inside and out for all your family and many of their friends! Several parking places. Pool table was a hit. Easy walk to the dock in less than 10 minutes. Close to the Pines Market, too. Kitchen had good assortment of miscellaneous dishes & equipment, but bring dish brush and grill brush.

Our women's hiking group really enjoyed our stay in this lovely house. Yosemite was close enough for some challenging day hikes, and then we enjoyed returning to the property for dinner, showers, and relaxation. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our time here at this cabin. Everything was there as stated. The outside patio area was beautiful. We really did love it. It wasn’t as secluded as we thought it would be but still fun none the less.
