A beautiful detached barn conversion constructed in the typical Cotswold vernacular, clad with stone, slate and wood with the addition of a large walled garden to the front of the property and ample space for parking 4-5 cars. Patio dining furniture with parasol seats 8-10. Super-fast Internet (fibre) & printer for homeworking. No vis-a-vis. South facing.
Ground floor: spacious farmhouse kitchen, fully-equipped, American fridge, stone floor, underfloor heating, large & informal dining table, Nespresso machine;
* leading, on the one side, into a large sitting room with open fireplace, ample seating, underfloor heating. French doors on to terrace. Cloakroom & WC
* leading on the other side, into the Byre.
The Byre: Light-filled, formal dining room for 10, wood-burner, stone floor, underfloor heating. French doors onto terrace/garden.
Ground-floor bedroom with private en-suite, bath & shower. French doors
First floor: Master bedroom, super-king, high beams, with private en-suite, bath & shower
Family room (king size, bunk beds), high beams, quirky windows
Small double bedroom. Family bathroom with shower cubicle & bath
All rooms with views over terrace and walled garden. Luxury towels &bed-linen.
Furnished throughout with brand new furnishings and antiques.
Unlike similar listings, there is no charge for dogs but please notify of any dogs in your party so that we can ensure extra cleaning measures are taken for following guests.
We have signed up to the Airbnb "Commited to clean" program at the barn, ensuring an enhanced cleaning protocol.
Cleaning will be carried out by professional cleaners, all laundry will be washed and sanitised at high temperature and all surfaces sanitised before a guest's arrival.
This is our checklist:
Approved products. We use disinfectants approved by global health agencies to help prevent the spread of COVID-19
Protective equipment. We wear protective equipment, like a mask and gloves, while cleaning
Thoroughly clean. Each room will be cleaned following extensive cleaning checklists
Cleaning supplies on hand. We provide extra cleaning supplies, so you can clean as you stay
Every surface sanitised. All high-touch surfaces will be sanitised, such as doorknobs, cabinets and light switches
We would ask guests to be vigilant with their tissues ("catch it, bin it, kill it"), be so kind as to take out their bins at the end of their stay and practice general common sense in the fight against Covid-19.
Guest access
Entrance through double-gates into private courtyard. All parking off-road.
Guests may access the entire property.
Other things to note
If you wish to lunch or dine at The Crown, best to book early as much sought-after.
If you wish to book an online food delivery (Tesco's etc), please bear in mind that delivery slots fill up quickly on Fridays so best book well in advance.
Also please note that the Internet mapping service is incorrect as to location of the house so please do not rely thereon.
