Lake Woods House is a spectacular three story, luxury home configured for optimal use by large groups and extended families. This house is unique as it has LAKE BEACH ACCESS, there are only a few houses on Lake Harmony with BEACH ACCESS. The entertainment amenities include extra-large cable TVs in the game room and in the family room. The highspeed internet will keep you connected, or a regulation sized pool table, full-sized shuffleboard table, Fooseball Table, poker table along with ring toss will let you disconnect.
The magnificent Lake Woods House has abundant sleeping space for 20 guests. A spectacular master bedroom, seven additional oversized bedrooms, an ultra-modern kitchen, a spacious game room, a large comfortable family room, and a custom designed bar area.
The first floor has a CUSTOM DESIGNED BAR area that is large enough to accommodate all your friends and relatives. The more active members of your group will enjoy the entertainment equipment including the regulation sized pool table, the full-sized shuffleboard table, fooseball table, and poker card table, or they can match skills on the ring toss set. This floor also has two large queen bedrooms and a full bath. The laundry is also located on this floor consisting of a washer and a drier.
Located on the main floor is an extremely large family room, a gas fireplace, and the most comfortable furniture you could imagine for watching the oversized LED Smart TV. The ultra-modern kitchen is perfect for large families with a spacious granite countertop breakfast bar. The kitchen has everything you need and is fully equipped with all upgraded cookware, refrigerator, a ceramic cook top stove & oven, and an over-the-range microwave. Your dining area has a pair of solid wood tables with matching seating for 20. There are two queen bedrooms on this floor, and one full and one-half bath. This is the perfect setup for a grandparent of loved one that does not want to do a lot of stairs.
The third floor has the oversized master bedroom with an attached bath. This floor also has a large full bathroom a queen bedroom, and two bunk rooms. Each bunk room has two bunk bed sets, each set is a twin over full.
The Lake Woods House is situated on a wooded lot, with an open area fire pit. There is also plenty of seating on the wrap around decks, with a four-burner propane grill.
You may never want to leave this fabulous location but if you do you only have to walk to the beach. There are several water parks in the area also, and Big Boulder and Jack Frost ski areas are less than 2 miles away.
You will love Woods Retreat and you will want to come back again and again.

We have a mixture of teens and younger child and this house was prefect for everyone! Plenty of dinning space with spacious kitchen to accommodate our crowd. Everyone had a great ski weekend with an easy drive to both mountains. Easy check in and out. We will definitely be recommending this house to friends and family and will book again!

We had a visit that was cut short due to a snowstorm the day we were supposed to leave. Owner was very prompt and accommodating. The home was beautiful, very comfortable and provided everything our group of 17 needed! Game room was a hit!!

We were able to have a family reunion with all of my siblings, and their children in a wonderful house that was extremely close to the lake! The kids and adults loved the game room with its shuffleboard, pool table, and foosball. Everything was in wonderful, working order, and, the host was very responsive when we noticed a propane tank was empty and the hairdryers were missing. two hairdryers appeared on our doorstep the very next morning. There was plenty of room for everyone to sleep. The only negative that we saw was the lack of linens. It was a bit of an inconvenience to have to bring our own or pay extra for linens on the beds. All in all, we had a wonderful week with plenty of parking and common space for family games. Would definitely return!!

Our group of 4 families very much enjoyed our visit to Lake Harmony. The house was spacious with plenty of seating for meals and hanging by the fire place. Our four families enjoyed the entertainment on the first floor with games of shuffle board, darts, and pool. There were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. This Lake Harmony home is conveniently located just a few blocks from the lake and a quick drive to skiing, markets, and other entertainment like ATV rentals and Split Rock Resort, where the children visited to go bowling and play in the arcade. The firepit area also offered a nice outdoor area to enjoy the woods. We will be returning next year.

The rental was low on convenience - we have been to Poconos as a group before and have definitely stayed in better properties. The lack of bath mats, leaking fridge, clogged bathroom, no decent sound system, fireplace near the road, bad Wi-Fi all made this a less than desirable stay

The house was nice however basic things like mattress on bed,tiny master bathroom,pots and pans and a troubling time at the lake were bad.The mattress on almost every bed was eally soft and every bed made a noise when you moved in it.The master bathroom shower was icredibly smallWe also attempted to go down to lake on day and were told we were not allowed in go back and call your landlord.We called Richard and he did respond quickly to the issue but we then went back a few days later and again told we were not allowed.Luckily for us the kid at the desk let us in anyway.Too many aggrevations.

The house itself had plenty of space and was a great size and layout for our 20 guests. We enjoyed the location. My issues are mostly with the quality of communication, and the lack of respect or care for our time.
When we walked in and noticed the toilet leaking and spurting water, I reached out immediately via the app. The entire 24 hours of communication was awful. I contacted through the app around 4 pm and never got a message back. A while later a man calls me around 6 saying he’s the handy man and he’ll be there at 6 am the following morning unless I really needed him there that night. I said that 6 doesn’t work for our schedule we really need someone to fix this tonight preferably. For many reasons (only bathroom on that floor, and us needing to get ready the following morning to leave) we wanted to be able to use the bathroom… He agreed and we hung up. Nearly 3 hours later I still had no sign of the handyman. I called and left a voicemail asking for eta. Assuming owner Richard was reading my messages since I had gotten a call from the handyman, I sent another message through the app asking for ETA. The handyman didn’t call back til after 11 pm saying he lived 3 hours away, he was in traffics, and would not arrive til 12:30 am. (Honestly I did not hear him sounding like he was in a car but that’s neither here nor there. Even assuming he was in the car we were already after 3 hours since he contacted me). That wasn’t fair at all. He again offered 6 am and I said 7 am. I’d been waiting up late for his arrival and the no communication was very frustrating. The following morning at 7 I got a text he was 20 minutes away. He didn’t show up til nearly 8.
Honestly my issue is with the communication. It never should have been this kind of back and forth, false etas, and over promising. Just be upfront and honest. Over communicate. It’s extremely rude to treat people like that.
The house was decently clean but we found weird stains and markings on the couch and kitchen wall. The linens company was timely and all clean.

Our family had a fun time . The property is a block away from the beach. 1/2 mile from some restaurants and in a great location. Our family really enjoyed the game room. Some of the items are showing wear, but overall a fun time

Property was roomy and had the best dining area/tables for a large group! A short walk to a nice little lake and both swimming and fishing were available (I caught a couple of nice bass). A great fire pit area was a real plus! Wooded lot with deer wandering around (fyi they like carrots)! Peaceful and serene! Well maintained property!

Overall good experience, but there should have been more kitchen supplies- paper towels, sugar & trash bags. Since I paid a hefty cleaning fee, the cleaning people should clean the grill. Otherwise, great house, good location for golf course proximity & excellent rec room & fire pit.

This was our 2nd year staying at this home. The owner was very easy to work with and responded quickly. I would def recommend this home for a large group. Only suggestion is if you plan to cook for a large group, bring some extra pots and pans.

The house was sized to fit 12 adults and 3 children comfortably. There was enough room for us all to sit together for meals and during leisure time. The downstairs game room was the perfect setting for late night enjoyment. Our group was able to sleep comfortably and there were plenty of bathrooms to share.
While the kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, glasses, and silverware, the pantry was slightly lacking so I recommend ensuring you bring sugar for coffee and extra paper towels. Enough trash bags and toilet paper were provided by the owner to get us through two nights.
The only negative was the outside setting. Because it is winter in the Poconos, both driveways, including the stairway entrance, were a sheet of ice. One of our cars got stuck and had to be towed out of the driveway. And 3 of our guests slipped on the ice and fell in the driveway.
Overall the house itself worked for our group and the location was peaceful. However, the grounds could use some maintenance during cold / wet winter months when temperatures drop below freezing.

The property was amazing. The Host was very easy to get in contact. There was absolutely no problem with the home. It was very clean and spacious. There were 13 of us and there was so much room. Location is 30 mins away most attractions. I will definitely be staying here again.

Wonderful time at this house. Has so many private bedrooms for a large group and is clean, has a fire pit and plenty of parking. Everyone really enjoyed themselves.

This house was perfect for our group of 17 people. There's an ample amount of bedrooms & beds, a spacious, well stocked kitchen where we were able to cook big meals for the entire group and the big living room which had enough sofas to seat us. The best part of the house is that there is two large dining tables that was able to seat all 17 of us so we were able to have all of our meals together (that is very rare in large houses). The game room in the basement also added to the overall enjoyment of our stay. There are several nice hikes a short drive from the house. There were a few minor plumbing issues we encountered during out stay (clogged up drains and pipes) but we brought it to the owner's attention and should be fixed for future stays. We would definitely consider staying here again.

It was a large group of 15 people. The house was so big we never felt like we were on top of each other. Had room for every single person. The view in the morning was amazing. Walk to the lake was like a minute. Everyone enjoyed the stay. Beautiful place. Highly recommended!

Richard the owner was excellent, the property was fully stocked and loaded with time of the Cookware, utensils the house have everything in working condition. I plan to make this place a favorite place to visit. The location, walking to the lake, tennis courts a few minutes walk. The lake restaurants was a hit!
