Our charming beachfront cottage offers stunning views of the ocean and the surrounding natural beauty. This spacious home features a bright and airy living room, comfortable bedrooms, and a fully-equipped kitchen. With direct beach access, you can spend your days enjoying the warm sun, exploring the rocky shoreline, and spotting wildlife such as bald eagles and seals.

As hosts who take great pride in providing a memorable experience for our guests, we would like to share some additional guidelines to ensure a smooth and enjoyable stay at our property. Your cooperation in following these rules is greatly appreciated.

1. Upon reservation, we kindly request information about the group, including names, ages and relations. Failure to provide this information within 24 hours may result in cancellation.

2. At least one member of the group must be an adult who is 28 years of age or older.

3. Please do not burn candles inside the house for safety reasons.

4. Food consumption is limited to the kitchen and dining areas only.

5. Dispose of all garbage in the designated bins; no litter should be left anywhere on the property.

6. The wood stove is not operable.

7. Ensure that no personal items, including kayaks, are left on the beach after use.

As we strive to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and efficiency, we would appreciate your assistance during the check-out process. We understand that departing on time may be challenging, so we ask for your understanding and cooperation in the following:

1. Check-out time is 10:00 am sharp. Please allow our cleaning crew access as soon as they arrive at 10:00 am. If a late check-out is needed, please contact us for approval, subject to cleaning crew schedules.

2. Strip the beds, bring all bedding to the laundry room, and start a load of used towels with the provided dishwashing agent.

3. Empty, or load and start the dishwasher. Please leave the sink free of any dishes or silverware.

4. Dispose of all trash in plastic bags in the designated bin outside of the greenhouse.

5. Collect all personal belongings from inside and outside the house.

6. Please ensure all exterior doors are locked upon your departure.

We’ve stayed at numerous VRBOs and our Maine hosts, Zach and Jordan, were spectacular!! They were so accommodating, helpful, timely, and pleasant. The home was wonderfully spacious, well decorated, quiet, and perched right above the bay. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony, around the fire pit, and in the shaded recess looking out over the water. Plenty of windows and cross ventilation kept the premises very comfortable. Excellent bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchen. Highly recommend renting this property!!

I really appreciated the two large dining tables, often homes that sleep large groups don’t have space to also eat as a group. The views are also beautiful.

My family and I can’t say enough good things about our stay at Lord’s Beach! The short drive-time to Acadia allowed us to easily visit the park several times during our trip. The house itself is lovely. The spacious main floor easily accommodated our group of nine. The eating area with its double table was perfect. The kitchen is well stocked. The furniture and décor are just right, minimalist but warm. And the house is laid out so that we had several zones – a kids’ area downstairs, a main floor area for the adults, and the kitchen bar for coffee breaks. We had plenty of room to relax! Tying it all together is the wall of glass that overlooks the real gem of the property – the view! The outdoor areas are amazing! The deck patio is quiet and private. The lawn is spacious with plenty of room for kids to play. And my personal favorite – the Adirondak-chairs area under the burgundy leaved Norway Maple is a wonderfully comfortable spot to relax in while enjoying the view of the water and watching coastal birds. The rock beach was incredibly cool! The kids explored the tidepools for crabs and starfish while the adults combed the pebble beach for sea glass. And we all took long walks up and down the peaceful shoreline, with the ever-present ocean breeze, while watching bald eagles and osprey fly overhead. Acadia was the reason that we chose to visit Maine, and it was absolutely beautiful. But we all agreed that the Lord’s Beach house "made" the vacation!

This property is excellent all around! Views of the bay and set in quiet surroundings. The property manager is friendly and timely in their response.
