What a lovely property. Beautifully decorated and complete with everything you need for a family holiday. There were 9 of us staying, grandparents, adults, teenagers and the dog. A bathroom/shower room for every bedroom was just perfect. Two reception rooms so the group could watch different TV programmes and gave the space for everyone to do their own thing. Downstairs loo was really handy, particularly for those who find the stairs a bit tricky. The outside space is perfect with seating for everyone and the car parking spaces were so helpful. The property is located right in the centre of Keswick - an easy walk to all the shops, bars and restaurants and a Co-op and chippy just at the end of the street. Location, cleanliness, space with beautiful furniture and decor really couldn't have been better for us. Good wifi for the teens - Perfect! Would definitely recommend!

We had a wonderful week in Ellergill. The property was clean and tidy on arrival and it was very useful to receive the little welcome box with tea and coffee and milk and biscuits. There was plenty of space for everyone to enjoy themselves and we enjoyed sitting outside in the sunshine to eat our meals. There were plenty of board games to keep the children amused along with a ping pong net, bats and balls, which they loved. Two lounges both with Smart TV’s were an added bonus for a larger family. There were more than enough bathrooms for everyone and the beds were comfy. The location was brilliant for exploring the town and the shops and we were so thankful for the car parking spaces.

We had a great stay at Ellergill. The location is brilliant. The house is very well equipped and very comfortable. We loved the fact they're were two lounging rooms and lots of shower rooms. The bike storage was an added bonus. We have booked again for next year. Our only negative was the acoustics in the dining room were not good making it fairly unbearable to eat in there with children. They need to add some soft furnishings to help with the sound.

We were wowed by the house (and the views from the second floor windows) when we arrived and were not disappointed throughout our stay. It had everything we needed and plenty of space for a big party. Sometimes one compares the reality with a website unfavourably but not on this occasion, almost the opposite, and we had not realised quite how everything in town and lake was on the doorstep. Our only observation - not a criticism - was that the dining area is a bit functional. Putting a couple of sound absorbing items in there, e.g. cushions on chairs and benches, might help. Perhaps a table cloth if you want to sit down for a meal together. The only thing missing was a potato peeler!!

The only problem. Out of five showers we could only use two because they blow the electricity fuse.which we reset and reported unfortunately no one came to look at the showers.Everything was new and the very best. This would not stop us from returning. A stunning place .

I had a wonderful stay with friends in a fabulous Lakeland town. The property is well-furnished and clean with lots of period features. Comfortable beds, with all the bedrooms ensuite bar one, but with a large bathroom just outside the door. A well stocked kitchen, but it could've been useful if kitchen roll was supplied. It would've also been useful if there had been more than one toilet roll per bathroom. Other than that it was perfection. Fabulous walking, pubs and restaurants. Highly recommended.

We found the property clean and comfortable and it is in a fantastic central location to access all of Keswick's amenities. The decoration is in very good condition and the kitchen facilities allow for cooking a family meal with relative ease. A larger casserole dish and a larger pot with lid would have been helpful, but this is a minor grumble. The long benches in the dining area were not particularly comfortable to sit and chat after a meal and I suggest swapping these out for chairs with backs. The private car parking spaces are a huge boon because parking in Keswick can be an issue. This allowed us to get out and explore the fells with no concerns about where we'd park when returning. We had a very pleasant experience in Ellergill and would recommend to our friends and family.
