Ty Tywod (pronounced 'Tea Toe-wod') features a welcoming blue front door that opens into a comfortable living space. The ground floor includes two spacious king-sized bedrooms, each tastefully decorated with a coastal theme. The bathroom is well-equipped with an electric shower. The lounge area, furnished with two three-seater sofas, provides a great space for guests to unwind, watch TV, or just socialise. There is a contemporary kitchen, fully equipped with necessary appliances and utensils for evening preparing meals and lunch time picnics. The kitchen includes a dining table for family meals or board games. Adjacent to the kitchen is a utility room and kit room providing additional convenience.

Stairs from the hallway lead to a twin bedroom, a separate toilet, and an upstairs ‘den' room equipped with a Smart TV. This area serves as a great hideaway for children or teenagers, offering a separate space to relax and play.

Ty Tywod boasts an enclosed garden accessible through a sliding door off the sitting room or through the kit room off the kitchen. The garden offers a secure outdoor space, featuring a patio area with a bench table and chairs. The practical kit room is accessible from the garden or kitchen, perfect for storing beach gear, wetsuits, or sports equipment. There is ample parking for 3-4 cars at the front of the property.

As soon as we opened the door we could see this property is tired. Not cared for. Kitchen is new and nice but the rest of the house is very tired. Hover did not work. Paint work mostly chipped and in need of a fresh up. Bedroom and living room painted furniture very tired. Bathroom toilet seat all chipped to. The biggest disappointment was the outside. Paint work, masonry work, garden furniture, patio area all needs cleaning up. Patio area needs jet washing, table and chairs needed staining and the garden is completely burnt at the back with no flowerbeds, no trees very open. The front garden is full of weeds and not very welcoming.

We had an absolutely lovely stay in this home! Very spacious (larger than photos suggest) with 3 bedrooms plus another daybed in the bonus room upstairs. Comfortable sitting room, separate laundry room, and a nice fenced in backyard. There is a small grocery and several cafes just a short 3-5 minute walk away. The Oyster Catcher down the street is fabulous! The owner had many other fabulous suggestions on activities to do in the area which we greatly appreciated. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us!

We stayed at Ty Tywod for a couple of nights for a family birthday bash. The space and layout were perfect for us and our 2 teenage children. We all had friends over on the first night and there was plenty of space for the kids to do their own thing upstairs, while the adults ate and socialised in the lounge/diner. Our son loved the games room upstairs with the big telly that he hooked his games console up to. The lounge/diner has views of the lake, beach and Snowdonia which made breakfast time sat at the dining room table, watching the sunrise even more enjoyable. We didn't cook as weren't there for long, but it looked as though there is everything you need to cook a family meal. There is plenty of parking for several cars, and the beach is a few minutes' walk away which our dog loved. The utility area off the kitchen is also ideal for dog beds and bowls etc. and the garden is fully enclosed so we could let him out in the morning and not have to constantly watch him. The beds and pillows were really comfy and we all slept well as although the property is really close to the village centre, you're off the main roads and there was no noise at all at night. We'd all go back in a heartbeat, hopefully next time in the summer so we can enjoy the garden a bit more too!
