About this house rental

Step into “Another Life” just a stone’s throw away from the lake at this waterfront home in the peaceful Possum Hollow area. It’s a haven for those who love to fish or simply float the day away. Inside, you’ll find a welcoming open-plan living area, complete with a kitchen and dining space designed for family meals. This house comfortably sleeps twelve across four cozy bedrooms, three of which boast ensuite bathrooms, while the fourth has a half bath conveniently located right outside its door.
In the kitchen, everything from a coffee maker to all the dishes and utensils you’ll need is at your fingertips to feed your crew. Step outside to enjoy our comfy outdoor furniture, gather around the gas fire pit or fire up the gas grill for a barbecue. Parking is ample, and the trees around ensure your stay feels private and serene.
Feel free to use the boat dock but not the slip or lift; it’s nestled in a calm cove, protected from the wind and in a no-wake zone to keep things peaceful. Just bring your ropes and bumpers. And if you’re bringing a boat, Possum Hollow restaurant and camp nearby offer a free boat ramp. Our dock is older and not made for the bigger wake surf boats, but it’s easy to tie your boat up in this quiet cove. We also have three seadoo parking spots.
The garage, fireplace and jacuzzi tub are not available to use.
You will be five minutes from a grocery store and gas station (West Side Mercantile & Possum’s Corner.) It’s even a shorter drive to another gas station and liquor store. Possum Hollow and Fox Hollow restaurants are right around the corner. Walmart in Graham is about fifteen minutes away.
We’ve poured our hearts into making this house not just a rental, but a place where we, too, love to stay. It’s clean, it’s comfortable, and it’s where we escape to live “Another Life Somewhere In The Sun.”

Very impressed , house was beautiful and the location couldn’t have been better docked my boat the entire time no wake no constant boat traffic evenings were spectacular. Had a little boat trouble neighbor towed us to the nearby ramp even though he was very busy. Will be back as soon as possible.

The property was awesome! The pictures don’t do it justice. The guys fished off the dock and others swam. Everything you could possibly need was on site. We truly hope to book again!

What a perfect place to stay for a weekend fishing tournament at Possum Kingdom Lake! The fishermen in our group had arrived at the lake early on the first day of our stay to "pre-fish" and enjoyed lunch at the Hungry Fox before checking in at the house. The boat lift was unavailable during our stay, but there is a convenient boat ramp nearby, and it was easy to tie up to the dock with our bumpers during fishing breaks. The non-fishermen in our group made excellent use of the partially covered dock: tanning, swimming, relaxing in the shade, and watching sunrises and sunsets. One need not venture down the stone steps and across the floating walkway onto the dock to enjoy beautiful lake views, however. A spacious patio with plenty of seating is adjacent to the back of the house and there are large windows in the great room facing the lake. From the living/dining/kitchen area to the bedrooms and bathrooms, this lake house is well-suited for larger groups. Families looking for a rental to share with friends, please note that this house has two master bedrooms suites. Also, that the other two bedrooms are on the other side of the house. Grown-ups could be on one side, kids on the other. Perfect!

Clean, up to date house, outstanding view. No extra food left in fridge to have to keep seperate from ours. Boat dock very nice and for us was perfect since we have 4 jet skies and it had a jet ski dock. Water in the area was clean and clear. Plenty of cement parking out front.
