The detached thatched farmhouse, De Florijn, built in 2009, has 4 farm houses, all of which are very comfortably and attractively furnished. The underfloor heating and the beautiful wood-burning stoves make it a great place to stay in all seasons. Outside each farm house you will find a private terrace facing south. For children, the large garden around the farm is a true play paradise (over 1000 m2). There is also ample parking space at the lodges.

Do you see yourself standing behind the stove? Stirring the pots while looking out over the fields? Maybe cooking is not 'your thing'. No problem, there are plenty of alternatives in the nearby village. But the farmer’s kitchen ... we think you will fall for the rural charm and no doubt spend many pleasant hours. In summer you’ll give up the kitchen table for a place on the terrace. If you're up early, you will be treated to a beautiful sunrise. You can also take a walk to the dike. The golden glow shines on the water; the shorebirds announce with loud cries that your day has started.

Wood stove
You're on an island where the wind reigns. A storm is a good excuse to cozy up on the couch: wood stove on, a drink beside you. Maybe the weather is still okay outside, but lighting a fire is just part of country life! The interior of the Zilverling gives you that feeling. Warm floors, old-Dutch tiles and rural scenes in the paintings.

Beautiful view
The Florijn was built in 2009 by builders who take pride in their work. Gracefully milled doors, alcoves and a nice beamed ceiling. It creates an atmosphere where you feel right at home. The Zilverling offers the best view; you can see directly onto the dike. The colours follow the changing of the seasons. Sparkling green in spring; pristine rows of dark soil in the winter. Just outside your field of vision, the large field where the kids can play!
