Enjoy easy access to championship golf courses, beachfront dining, botanical gardens, and a luxury spa all within a five-mile radius. Explore the vibrant Poipu Shopping Village for boutiques, art galleries, restaurants, and live Tahitian dance and Hula shows. For adventure seekers, Kauai’s South Shore offers a plethora of activities, from helicopter tours to ziplining through the jungle.
Unwind in the private yards, relax with a book, or watch the kids play in the lush grass. With two living areas equipped with cable TV, everyone can enjoy their favorite shows. The Makanui guesthouse is a cozy one-bedroom, two-story retreat with its own kitchen, BBQ, and two full baths.
Gather for game night, fire up the grill, or prepare a meal in the open kitchen featuring granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. End your day by watching the sunset over the ocean from the atrium before retiring for the night.
As a guest of Makanui Estate (up to 10 people), you'll have complimentary access to the Poipu Beach Athletic Club. This exclusive membership grants you access to a large swimming pool with a slide and a beach, a hot tub, tennis courts, pickleball courts, half basketball courts, cardio and weight machines, free weights, exercise classes, ping pong, and various games. Additionally, the club features a fantastic restaurant with poolside service.
This vacation rental can be combined with Lei Ohana next door for larger groups or family reunions. The two properties together are called Ohana Retreat (sleeps 29). Ohana Retreat can be booked a year and a half in advance whereas Makanui Estate or Lei Ohana are only booked 8 months in advance.
