We stayed at this hotel years ago and recalled it as being a pleasant stay. Arrived this visit to find the lobby, gym and the hotel room doused in some artificial and overpowering Febreeze like smell. The smell never dissipated, even after hours in the room. It was eventually so unbearable that I had to just leave that first night and find another hotel. Extremely disappointed. The hotel is marketed as being a fitness oriented place to stay. But “fitness” suggests healthy, and that toxic smell throughout the hotel isn’t a healthy environment.

We selected EVEN based on price and reviews. When checking in, they assessed a non-refundable pet deposit that was twice as high as advertised on the IHG site, the highest we've seen. We would have left, but our online booking was non-refundable. Overall a poor value for the price.

I liked everything about my stay except there was no 1/2 1/2 at your free coffee bar.
My room and hotel was immaculate. Used the exercise ball drank all the yummy waters ~ loved the bed and pillows. Had delicious dinner from Boom Thai one night and Babbadooks Burritos the next. Would recommend

The purpose of my travel to EVEN hotel was to get away from NY. I spent 3 night and 3½ . I needed quiet alone time for myself. My room was amazing, room was clean, bed very comfy and I thought bathroom was clean and beautiful. Here are the not so good things: no dresser draw to put my clothes. Yes I was able to hang some but there are others things that needed to go in a draw. Sometimes other guest would slam the doors at night.
One morning, I went to get breakfast, I waited 10-15 minutes at the window to give my order, and no one came, so I left and went back to my room. Unfortunately, there is no room service. In conclusion, I did have a great "me" time and loved my room. Staff are soooo nice.

LOUD! The rooms are great. The amenities are awesome. Sadly, you can hear everything in the hallways. Doors, conversations, EVERYTHING. They need to seal the doors and figure out a solution to the hallway noises. If they do…I would be a big fan!
