I arrived quite early since I was passing the hotel I stopped to see if I could check in and one at the front counter was very helpful found that my room was ready and was able to check in. I was in town for a funeral so any kindness was definitely appreciated. The room was clean well-appointed and had soaps and shampoos available in the bathroom along with plenty of towels. Being close to the freeway was not an issue for me, as soon as the rush hour was over it just sounded like background ocean noise. I was there for two days and even though it wasn't necessary when I returned on the first day the bathroom had been tidied up and the bed remade. The breakfast buffet in the morning was very nice, everything from coffee and juice to Cold Cereal hot waffles, a variety of Breads and bagels, sausage and eggs that were different each morning. This was a wonderful stay and I would definitely make this my home base if another trip were necessary to the area.

I stay to this hotel because of business.
Everything was acceptable except the people at the front desk. They need to be trained in how to deal with a customer and be polite. All shifts at the front desk has poor attitude to the customer.
Other issue was the pool that was out of service and what make it worse is that we are in the middle of the Summer.

Well to start with I was very disappointed, I stayed for 2 days, the bathtub wouldn't drain when taking a shower, the sofabed was ripped, and looking very tacky, the microwave had the last guest contents still in it..Also the sofa bed was very old and sunk in...I wish I could get at least a 1night room comp...the room should've been clean throughly. Not saying I won't stay here again..But do better

Bed was hard and pillows were not comfortable. Ground floor room looked out at parking lot so no window for light. Room was clean and front desk was easy to work with.

The staff was wonderful...polite and helpful. We mistakenly left an important document behind and they called me ...much appreciated. Breakfast was good, and there's a great gym. The room was clean and the beds were excellent. Only complaints is that the carpets need replacing and there was mold in several places in the bathroom.

Everything was nice and clean even though i got there very late due to a late flights from N.C. and Avis rental center at LAX did not get car until 2am in morning when my flights landed at 10:00 pm. The front desk clerk was excellent 😊😊😊 Thanks Again Vivian Nelson

I chose to stay here over the DoubleTree because it was close to CSUDH, where I had to go for a work trip. The amenities like the continental breakfast and jacuzzi were awesome, and parking was easy to find. Super close to shopping centers and I was able to get some clothes and supplies I needed last minute from the Target about a mile away. I had some trouble figuring out how to turn the lights on for the pool/jacuzzi area, but there was just a switch labeled "emergency shutoff" by the entrance to turn on. The room and provided linens were nice and clean. I chose a non-smoking room but every time I got on the elevator I could smell heavy cigarette smoke, presumably from other floors. I'm not a smoker so I wasn't the biggest fan of that, but everything else was awesome.

The room I paid for was on the noisy side facing the freeway, could here traffic all night not able to get a good sleep. Additional information someone on my floor was smoking Marijuana you could smell it at the hallway.
