It was some sort comfy I guess … room #144 needs some plumbing work done … sink wouldn’t drain … other than that it was ok for a one nighter

I stayed there twice in the last 3 days (helping my son move). It was easily accessible from the main road, inexpensive, clean, and provided a good nights sleep. If you need a place to sleep at good price, then this is your place.

Texans are very friendly and helpful. Harry and Debbie went out of their way to take care of me. The room was clean but I had to change three rooms to find one that didn't have an overwhelming smell of cigarette even though the rooms were non smoking. Because of that I had difficulty sleeping and breathing and woke up quite congested in my lungs. Throat and sinuses.
Also, two of the lights didn't work.
I would like to stay there again should the need arise but I will probably look for a hotel that doesn't smell like cigarette.

Texans are very friendly and helpful. Harry and Debbie went out of their way to take care of me. This location is great for those looking for a simple stay of hot water, comfy bed and fair price. Some might say a reno would be useful, the condition of the rooms are decent. The noise level from others might be noisy for some, but did quiet down at a decent hour. Do plan to stay here again, as the service was great!

This is a working mans hotel. The parking lot is full of dirty trucks and people smoke in the front yard much and swear manly swear words. This is a PG-13 crowd.

The staff at the front desk was so friendly. He helped me with my bike box since he only had upstairs rooms and I had flown in for rhe HHH race. He let me put the bike back in the box down in the lobby so I wouldn’t have to bring the bike box back down the stairs again. It was hot in the room initially. But tremendous noises later while I was trying to sleep the air came on. Room was clean but place was older and generally looked a bit run down.

Front desk staff was quick and kind, property clean and quiet. Excellent area for walking dogs with bags and trash can conveniently provided. Easy to access off the highway. Would absolutely stay here again!

BEDBUGS!!! Filthy place. Wouldn't have stayed there at all if it hadn't been 1:00 am and we were exhausted. They only found one room when they pulled up my reservation even though i booked two, then told me that they needed payment even though i paid through Expedia. The next day we checked and saw that we were billed twice. My room had various bodily fluids of differing textures on several surfaces. As we were leaving, my daughter complained about finding a bug on her pillow, dreading what i was about to find, i pulled back the sheet and sure enough, bedbugs. She had about a half dozen bites on her. They told us they would refund the overcharge and the room with the bedbugs, but its 5 days later and no refund has hit our bank. Sleeping under a bridge somewhere would have been less problematic.

They said there is no smoking in the room (I don’t smoke anyways so perfecto) but when we walked inside we were punched in the face by a wall of cigarette smell. It’s very worn, used, not super clean. My kids didn’t feel comfortable, I didn’t feel comfortable so we took the loss and headed across the highway to BW which was absolutely amazing.

It's not a bad hotel, the rooms are just a little dated- the hotel is older. For a quick one night stay, its great and one of the only hotels I found that accommodate dogs over 25 lbs.
