Liked the reasonable price, decent place to stay and pets for free, although they wanted to charge me for pet despite what is says on expedia. Their hot tub was out of order, which was unfortunate since I rely on this to get moving again after long car ride...

The hotel was nice overall. Nothing fancy, but a decent place for the night. My only complaint is the fact that they don't have an elevator. It's only 2 floors, but it is not fun carrying lots of luggage upstairs.

Nice, quiet stay

Overall this property was okay! The room and the hotel smelled funky and we tried to use air freshener but it just kept coming back. The room was kind of run down with broke tile around the jet tub and mirror in the bathroom was falling apart. But it was clean other than that and quiet! Just wish it had a pool as well. Also spa was not available.

No hot water and terrible water pressure. Breakfast was sub par. Rooms were nice.

Older place, but we’ll cared for and clean. Very accommodating. Would certainly stay here again

The room was very nicely appointed and comfortable. It had a second access door to the parking lot which was really handy. The shower was a little weak and the blow dryer wasn't working, but they brought me a new on immediately.

The hotel was dirty and smelled bad. None of the facilities that are advertised are in working order. No pool, work out room or sauna.

For it being an older hotel it was very clean and staff was courteous. They are currently updating. Wish I would’ve known the sauna room was closed but I did see they offer an offsite workout facility

It was fine. Clean and quiet. Basic amenities. If you have a lot of luggage pray for a first floor room as there is no elevator.

If you plan on doing business here, stay far away from this property. I had 3 employees staying at this property for just under a week. The initial stay was for 3 days and then it was extended to a week. I was called on a Sunday by the front desk manager threatening to call the cops on my employees for not coming down to sign paperwork when the rooms were extended earlier that week. He proceeded to tell me that he had called their rooms and they had not responded (they were working) and then told me he had called my office line at 11 p.m. the previous night and couldn’t get a hold of me so he was very frustrated. He also said that he had canceled the prepaid Expedia reservation and expected me to provide him with another credit card for the rooms to be paid for. Sorry, but that’s not my problem either. There was no point in canceling the reservation and since you canceled it, it’s the hotel’s responsibility to contact Expedia to rectify the situation. The entire phone call, this man was rude, unprofessional and threatening. I arranged for my employees to immediately leave the following day and moved to a different hotel who appreciates our business far more than this one does. Especially for anyone in a professional situation like mine, I warn you to stay far away from this property. Worst experience I’ve ever had and I’ve been in business for 15 years. Yikes.

Mirror needed repair to frame. No tissues. Remote was low on battery. No pool but was advertised on site, and hot tub. Coffee was very good! Staff were friendly

Lobby and room clean though the room showed signs of recent repair to the shower piping in wall. Staff very friendly. Building under renovation. The free breakfast: The hot food (eggs and gravy) was not hot. It was barely warm. The sausages were warm. No butter. Syrup and waffle batter nearly gone. Staff not around to replenish. The cold biscuits that went with the cool gravy were like rocks and unable to be cut. Could not find salt for the eggs. Fridge was not stocked. Beds were comfortable and bathroom clean. I would give the breakfast a rating of 0 (zero), but everything else satisfactory.

Outdated, filthy carpets, patched walls, outdated bedding.

beds are old and uncomfortable, keys don't work, poor condition everything in your room is very old nowhere to charge anything.

This was my second visit to Huron SD and this was the first time at the Best Western (we used a different one last time) it was a lot nicer and cleaner and the price was great! Will definitely stay here again upon my next visit!

Staff very helpful

The shower at 5:30am was cold - the water never got warm or hot. The towels need to be updated - they were not bleach white. The interior of the hotel could use a facelift - very dated.

There was no hot water ever. We went to take two hot showers and never got hot water. Barely spoke English. Didn’t help when I needed it.

Didn't have room reserved, no one on duty at 7:30 pm.

The place looks a little run-down; could use upgrades. Limited selection for breakfast. Pool was closed. No elevator to top floor. Plaster peeling off in bathroom. Used washcloth left in shower do doubt the shower was cleaned after previous guest.
