I was disappointed in the wait to check-in, 4:00 pm was rather late. But the decor was festive and your staff very friendly. We were attending a gala in the hotel that evening. Rooms were spacious and very clean. Centrally located- great starting point for a Boston experience. Have stayed here before and will do so again I am sure.

The hotel was clearly a fantastic place in the past, and a charming one, but now it s in full decay. It s oldish, with a bad service, angry employees, and way too expensive for what it offers when compared to other hotels in the neighbourhood

The urban experience fee of USD 35 per day for wi fi and telephone and a bottle of water is outrageous. Include it the tariff and be done with it.

Convenient to back bay station
Check-in - i wish i had been told that i had a $25 breakfast credit before checkout
The $35 “facilities” fee should be renamed so it doesnt feel like a shakedown

The staff and service were excellent; we loved the overall ambiance and experience. It is in a spectacular location with easy access to the city and beyond. While our room was small like many historic hotels, it was well designed, updated, and perfect for a couple of nights.

The Fairmont Copley Plaza and a most beautiful hotel and in the very best location. Walking distance to everything. What made the best of our stay was the staff - the were all truly exceptional especially the front desk staff and of course the reason this hotel was originally chose - Cori the token hotel dog!

Smallest room with the smallest most inconvenient bathroom I have ever stayed in. Two people could not be in the bathroom at the same time doing anything. No counter space, everything was jammed in. The room was about the size of a toaster box. We had to call for our luggage to be brought up, and call twice for someone to come get our luggage when leaving. When we woke up and wanted room service, they did not start until 7am. There was a mandatory $35 a day “City Experience Bundle Fee” that we never even made use of. It covered WiFi (our cell service was fine), water in our room, local and international calls, and a $25 discount in their restaurant (which was the only thing we used on our $21 espresso Martini). All in all, The Fairmont Copley has an amazing location, but is resting on its reputation. I would recommend one of the bigger hotels right across the street for more space, the same if not better service and the same location.

Smelled and looked like a 75 year old hotel

Many of the staff are unfriendly and clearly not enjoying their jobs.

I always enjoy staying at the Fairmont, great location and friendly staff. Unfortunately, on this trip I didn't get the chance to enjoy the Oak Long Bar which is one of my favorite Boston watering holes.

Property was in a great location, but the rooms were extremely dirty. The water pressure was horrific. I went down to the restaurant and the furniture was ripped and a not good shape…. it’s obvious that the owners have not spent the money and keeping the property up. I remember when they did the renovation 20 years ago was absolutely spectacular now it’s a three star hotel… with a great location

Had a great stay at a legacy hotel in a convenient location in downtown Boston. Yes, there are other premium hotels with modern amenities, but the Fairmont definitely has enough charm to make up for it. Used the fitness center, it was great. Only thing I would say detracts is the lack of parking, which can be mitigated by taking public transit or parking at the Clarendon Street garage across the street. Also the keys used to work the elevators and gain access to the rooms would demagnetize-- in 2024 this shouldn't really be a problem.

Pricey but so is everything in Fenway. Beautiful old school hotel with large rooms and firm beds. The furniture and wood framing could use some updating but easy to look past that when the hotel is so beautiful and the center of everything.

Beautiful hotel. If you would like a refrigerator request in advance
Staff was helpful and friendly. You will be charged $ 65 for overnight parking and a standard $35 fee
