I stayed there because I wanted to swim in the pool. The pool had a gate around it and it was locked. It was 90° outside. We'll find a place with a pool that's open next time.

Want to recognize this property Baymont by Wyndham in Greenwood SC. The property was older but very clean. The staff was great. Marvalene in the breakfast room was fantastic. She made our stay even better. I hope Wydam appreciates what it means to have great staff members. Prices were fair. Room was clean A/C needed a long over due tune up the temp said one thing however the room temp did not reflect the number the unit said. Plenty of restaurants near by. We would recommend this property. B. Field

The lady at the front desk was nice and very helpful! The hotel itself looked nice and was set back from the road so we heard no road noise and after 9 or 10 the hotel was very quiet. The biggest problem was the smell in the room. it was terrible. it smelled like years of BO or smoking and air freshener to cover it up. Even after we left, my husband's CPAP machine tubing had that smell in it. If we weren't so tired we would have gone elsewhere just because of the smell. The bathroom also needed rehabbing - you could see where the condensation on the walls in the bathroom dripped down and looked like streaked paint. The bathrub was stained and they tried to clean it but i was afraid of getting athlete's foot by stepping on the floor of the bathtub. I would NOT stay there again unless the rooms were rehabbed - the carpet needs to be replaced - maybe that would reduce the smell - i don't know but it was awful!

Hotel stay was great, only two things I found was offsetting; in one room two drawers was occupied with clothes and some other stuff was left behind and the fan did not work in the bathroom. Would I stay again at this hotel or recommend someone else to do it yes I would.

Room was clean and smelled pleasant. Front desk staff and housekeeping was very friendly, professional, and helpful. The a/c unit did not work quite right BUT it did keep us comfortable so no complaints honestly. Nothing fancy but comfortable and safe for a very reasonable price.

I would not recommend this hotel I left did not stay at all went somewhere else for the night.

The room was filthy, we found 2 broken off acrylic fingernails in the floor, several bugs a flies. The refrigerator was leaking into the floor. The non smoking room smelled of mold and cigarettes. The entire room felt damp/wet, including our clothing after being in there for a few hours. The shower drain was slow and clogged, so I got to bathe in other people’s old funky water. The keycards only ever worked once then had to be rekeyed every SINGLE TIME , because we would get locked out. As a woman traveling alone with my daughter this felt extremely unsafe. Zero weather stripping on the door so bugs just continued to enter and exit the rooms. The front desk staff was very nice, the hospitality staff, did their work very loudly, not once considering people could still be sleeping in the hotel as they were gossiping loudly outside the rooms while cleaning and turning over vacant rooms. Absolutely the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Wyndam properties are usually nice, they should be embarrassed to put their branding on this building.

I can't think of a thing I didn't like thank you for a lovely visit.My 9yr old grandson says our stay was to short.

Rooms are very outdated. Photos need to reflect that. No view hole, it was fixed by being stuffed with toilet paper! Ew! Also we never saw staff after check in. Couldn’t find anyone in the morning for help, and breakfast was locked up. We couldn’t even eat before we left. But the room was cleaned well and the property all around was nice and clean.
