This cute little place was just outside Bar Harbor, and an excellent choice for a place to stay that was less expensive. The gentleman checking me in was kind and quick... The room was fine. It served it's purpose. If I had to say anything at all that gave me pause, was that the room had a sliding glass door that led straight to the parking lot (and no screen or double lock). It was super convenient to load and unload the car, but I don't know that I would have felt safe leaving my stuff in the room for any time that I wasn't there. The decor was a little dated, but still clean. I'd stay here again.

There are many things to like about this property. The room is big there is a real chair and.a dining table and chairs also breakfast was very good. But unfortunately the room was strangly hot and the ac noisy and did not.cool the room well. Also water pressure was poor and the bathroom door did not shut properly. So a mixed bag..

They have very nice towels, bed, pillows and refrigerator. However, that’s about all that was good. The bathroom needed lots of work. The mold on the bathtub was sickening. Water stains on the ceiling tiles. Holes in the wall. The fan in the Bathroom was very noisy. The light switch for the bathroom sink was about 8 feet away. There was only one bed light because there were no outlets on that side of the bed. The outside entrance was a sliding glass door and you couldn’t get in through there. I had to go down the corridor, open the corridor door and then open the sliding glass door to let my girlfriend in. Overall, I would give this establishment 3 stars

Decor was somewhat dated, but the shower and appliances in our room appeared very new. Our room was clean and comfortable. The grab and go breakfast included many items like cereal, yogurt, hard boiled eggs and pastries.

I understand the cost of the room most likely has to do with being around Acadia (room was $300), but personally..my room was not at all worth it. I go to the smoky mountains a lot, and have stayed in brand new hotel rooms for $300. So that blew my mind. The door to my room looked like a crowbar had busted it open. The bathroom was outdated, and gross. The room itself was an average room you’d expect from an inn. After sleeping in my car the night before, and hiking all day that day..I was looking forward to checking in, and taking a hot shower. I start the shower, and as I’m showering I notice the drains clogged. Kept showering anyways cause I needed a shower. So just in general spending $300 for that experience wasn’t thrilled about. Pricing should honestly be $200 MAX. I will say staff was friendly though and the overall place is just an average inn. Maybe I just had a bad room. Who knows. I brought it to their attention, they apologized, and that was that. Nothing against the people working, again..they were nice but yeah

Didn't like the broken toilet handle or the staff smoking beside our sliding door. Very convenient location to Acadia, staff was friendly and helpful. Room was decently clean.

Clean but this is a few frills establishment. The bathtub was clean but had two different colors of glaze. Clearly old and needed updating and caulking. The front door locked and opened into the hallway but the sliding glass back door, which opened into a parking area, had a broken lock and just a board that fit the track. A little disconcerting. The room was clean and quite spacious and the back door for loading and unloading the car was convenient.

There was no decaf coffee available for breakfast. There was a good assortment of items available for breakfast on the morning, but a negative was the lack of available table/chairs to sit at to eat breakfast. Also, the locking handle on the sliding glass door was missing a screw that fastened it to the door. Also, door to the room had to be shut hard to make sure that it locked.

Not all of the rooms are renovated. My room was very clean, but in obvious need of an upgrade. Pool was nice and staff was friendly. Overall fine, but my room could have been better.

Very clean. Room was renovated and very nice. The Evening desk clerk was very helpful and friendly with lots of good suggestions on places to eat and hiking trails.

Older hotel converted over to modern facility/amenities. Huge pool, no hot tub. Would be better if there was a breakfast buffet with hot waffles/pancakes. There was a toaster for bread-type products. But surprising number of things available.
