We were pleased that Michael at the reception desk gave us easy directions to walk to hotel from Cologne Hbf. He also gave us directions to an excellent restaurant for the next day. Our stay was good and the location was so close to the Cathedral and for walking around the area. The only negative was that our room faced the street, which was very noisy.

When I entered the room I thought it is from 80s. The floor was so dirty, I cannot tell you the color of the carpet. And it was extremely cold. The only good thing was people working, they were nice and smiling

The hotel staff provided exceptional service, and the breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options. While the room decor may be considered outdated, all amenities were in proper working order, including an excellent shower.

TRYP is basically across the station. It was very convenient to get in and out. Staff was excellent and very helpful. They kept our luggage for us after check out. The rooms may need some upgrade as it had old carpet, very outdated. furniture and no AC.

Last minute booking for the European Championships. Staff were very polite and helpful. Hotel was clean and tidy. Rooms a little tired and could do with a refresh. Great location right next to the main station.

Central location 5 minutes from Railway Station/Dom and only 15 minutes to old town. Hotel rooms slightly tired but everything works and room attendants excellent at cleaning rooms and replenishing tea/coffee and towels etc. Hotel would benefit from a/c but fans available if needed. I would stay again.

The hotel pretends to be a 4 star hotel... It reminded me more of an earlier DDR hotel. The whole interior is dated. The carpets were dirty,the door to the bathroom was so narrow that I bumbed several times to the wall. The shower did not work properly. The bathroom was proper. The staff was friendly, the breakfast was very good , it was very quiet and the location is perfect,close to the Hauptbahnhof.

Property was very clean and convenient to Cathedral in walking distance. Excellent breakfast at 8 euro pp. Parking is not good and in an unsafe area. Staff gave us address for alternative parking but couldn’t tell us where it was. Our room faced Dom Str and was very Noisey all night with people hanging around the front of the hotel. The room was too warm to close windows. Fans in the room would be helpful. Probably will find another hotel if we return.

Was fine, but nothing more than that. Had no hand soap, body soap, shampoo, but did have empty bottles of those items. Oh, and a small bottle of conditioner, and that was it. At least I left with soft hair! Very dated property, which would be fine were it not for the price being what it was. Value by that measure is not great, you can get A LOT more for just a few more euro. Not the worst, but I won’t be staying here again.

Comfortably located in a quiet street. Friendly helpful staff and a very good breakfast for a reasonable price. Clean and comfortable room equipped with ironing board. Good internet.

The staff was accommodating, the parking was absolutely terrible! We did get a space in the garage but please be warned that an SUV is really too large for their facility! There were literally inches on each side of our vehicle getting in and out. Room was decent, but the bathroom was not very clean. To get to the Christmas market you have to walk by the train station area, which is very sketchy. We ended up taking a taxi back to avoid it.

The hotel is in a good location for the central railway ( HBF ) station where you can take S Bahn S19 to and from the airport .it is also located within walking distance of alll the major sights ,and Altstadt .( In order to reach the just walk through the HBF .We booked a Business room ,because they are bigger than the standard room. Note ..the Hotel bar is now permanently closed.

Its location is good as it is just next to main train station. However, the room is tiny and randown. Shower head is broken and water drain seems jammed. Good for just night sleep but not for long stay.

You can't polish a t*rd. While the staff is going out of their way to accommodate guests and help with usual and unusual incidents, the hotel itself urgently needs an update. No air conditioning in sweltering heat is unacceptable, especiy in an establishment 'proud' of its 4-star status. The only elevator was broken for over 36 hours during our stay. Anyone with mobility issues on upper floors must have been extremely inconvenienced.

Easy to get to, very close to central train station. Had no problem checking in 2 hours ahead of time which was great. Bedroom walls were dirty, as was the carpet. Had a nespresso coffee machine and tea and kettle. Free bottle of water was left in room each day which was nice.

Had an inner room which was very quiet. Room was large, but furnishings were dated and worn. Carpet was gross (thank goodness for the slippers provided) and mini fridge looked like it hadn't been wiped down in a year. No AC, but provided a fan to help with the afternoon heat. Good internet. Expected to see Mindy St. Claire in the hallway...
