There’s very little to recommend this property. I have stayed in Nanuet before at hotels that were far nicer in locations one could genuinely call pleasant. That word would not come to mind for this particular suite hotel. It’s in a dreary, quasi commercial area. The hotel is within hearing range of railroad tracks with trains running and blaring their horns loudly late into the night.
It was quite a poor value for an overnight rate of $177 all in. No breakfast is offered, and the room we occupied was dark and dreary.
The best part of the stay were the two ladies working at the registration desk the evening we arrived and morning we left. Very pleasant and professional. Otherwise I would not bother staying at this hotel.

The hotel is old. The first night we were here there was a very strong cigarrette smell in the main hallway which was terrible. The bathroom shower did not work properly at ALL. I think the hotel is over priced. The room was clean, but it had a very strange odor... and honestly the shower gel, buh terrible! And it is very noisy, there is a nearby train which you can hear all night long.
The service was good though, very nice people and free washer and drier!!

While we were checking in, another guest called the desk and the staff advised all rooms were booked and they could send someone in to the room to spray. My first thought was bugs, but it could have also been related to the smell as well. Either way, when we got to our room and I was not happy, but we were there for one night and would be out most of the time anyway. The door jammed and the room smell never went away, even with keeping the window open. I wouldn't recommend this location unless absolutely necessary if you can afford another option.

Bad experience with the shower. Was not working. The spout stuck so very little water. I had to knee down and wash. Terrible. Since it was for a day I did not say anything.

I ended up leaving after about 30 minutes and drove 3 1/2 hours home.

Previously stayed in room 343. That was good. This time I got room 342. Bed was super hard and you could feel and hear springs from just rolling over, trying to get comfortable. This room faced the road also. So it was noisy in the morning. Lastly, the sofa bed was horrible. Tried it to see if it would be kinder on my back then the bed. Nope, much worse.
