Great location, easy check in, good value including breakfast and bottled waters, and convenient bag check if you arrive before room is ready. Also received good communication prior to arriving. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas! It is the city so be prepared to hear sirens at night and if you are on the north (alley) side, possibly trash trucks. We were off exploring and didn't make the evening reception from 5-7pm for free drinks and snacks but it's a great option. Likewise, didn't check out fitness center. Checked out 36 hours ago, still awaiting final CC charges to post so hopefully there isn't an issue with the $100 security deposit charge dropping. Would definitely stay again!

Great location and a great hotel, I especially liked the buffet breakfast, I only need simple things so don’t expect eggs and bacon. Downside to this hotel was the noise from the dumpsters at 4am in the morning, ask for a high flow so you get a view, we were in 1nd and looked into a building. Overall a good stay

Our stay at the Kinzie was excellent! Continental breakfast and free happy hour drinks were awesome! Our room also had a great view, and was very clean. Our new favorite hotel in downtown Chicago!

I normally wouldn’t leave a review, and especially not a bad one- but the soaps in the shower were empty, there were dead fruit flies on the bathroom counter, the shower head was broke, there were stains on the mattress protector (we always peel it to check for bed bugs, just a habit we were both raised with), and the bathroom lights made a really loud noise whenever they were turned on or off. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, and the area felt safe- but the upkeep just wasn’t there unfortunately.

Nice room, updated and comfortable. Bathroom very clean and great shower pressure. Overall a nice room in a well maintained property. Great location, with lots of nearby dining and activities.

This was, bar none, the best hotel I have ever stayed at. The bed was so very comfortable, and the room was beautiful and spaciou. When checking in, the gentleman at the front desk helped me get my things up to my room, showing me along the way how to operate the elevator, which after a long day of driving topped off by the chaos that is city street driving would have found me floundering around otherwise. This was my first time staying in a city and using valet service. This service made parking super easy. At all times the staff was friendly and helpful.

Great room and view. Clean and thorough maid service. Should have posted signs to reuse towels to save water, we come from a drought state. Should have a bathmat for inside tub. Good breakfast but room crowded and not enough seats for everyone. Quiet room first night, then could hear music from bar on street behind us until after midnight on fri & sat nights so could not sleep. Our room faced the street behind kinzie street, not the hotel entrance.

Nice spot for visiting Chicago to eat and drink. Close to both Red Line and Orange line from Midway - short walk. Liked the happy hour and breakfast. Became a part of our daily agenda and good place to coordinate with our friends that we also staying. Met some nice people that were also guests. Staff were friendly and helpful. In the middle of the action with many good restaurants and bars nearby.

The hotel staff are friendly, easy going, and helpful. Upon check-in, they informed us of everything within the hotel as well as giving us our waters. Simple, but appreciated. At check out they called ahead for taxi service for us who promptly arrived one minute later. Our room was extremely clean and comfortable! This is a huge component for me. I love traveling and appreciate when I know rooms are clean! The hotel is only one block from the Riverwalk and we were able to walk all the way out to Buckingham fountain and back. I recommend Harry carries for drinks and dinner, which is right across the street. Also, House the Blues is half a block away as well. Everything is right there for your needs.
