Room next to our room, room 223, was loud, banging, pounding the ground and wall, walking around and sounded like they were throwing things.
I called the front desk twice, it was around midnight. The employee at the front desk was polite and stated he would take care of it, but it never stopped. Finally fell asleep around 1 AM and was awoken again at 6 AM to more pounding and banging and it sounded like people jumping around.
Bathroom had a loud fan that doesn’t stop unless you close the bathroom door, and you can still hear it slightly.
I went to check out in the morning and express my concerns, but there was no one at the front desk and there was a sign that said be back soon or call this number for emergency assistance. I left my room keys and exited.

Great location (several shops near it). Room was clean and updated. Check in was great. Beds were comfortable. Room was quiet. Price was fair. I was surprised but this place was good. Keep in mind the very small city is in the middle of nowhere. It was better than i expected.

We had a jetted tub room and it was in the large king room which was fine and surprisingly it filled with hot water. The breakfast was NICE! The service was “fine”. The pillows and bed were comfy. It was close to lots of food too. We were sad the pool and hot tub were closed.

We arrived and our toilet was clogged. The desk person brought us a plunger and we had to plunge it ourselves (it was clogged before we arrived!). The sink did not have a stopper in it and the drain was very dirty. Also the side of the building outside our window also very dirty.

I was actually unable to stay, as I made a mistake in booking. Immediately after I printed my itinerary, I discovered I had entered the wrong dates. I tried to change the reservation, but was told by Hotels.com that it was too bad and that they couldn’t do anything about it. Upon contacting the La Quinta, they assured me that wasn’t their policy and that Hotels.com was not being truthful about a change in reservations. Sooooo, I booked the correct dates directly with La Quinta and had to take the loss from Hotels.com - for 2 rooms, that was over $250. I will not use Hotels.com ever again.

For the price-you would think that they wouldn’t allow people to have parties at 1:00am! I awoke to door slamming, laughing, yelling and talking at 12:30-1:30 am! Those folks had a good time but my sleep suffered after driving 9 hours! Management does a poor job of controlling the environment! Breakfast is a joke bagels, cereal, scrambled eggs and some sort of round sausage patties! Suggest you pass this one up and stay at a different hotel!
