Our room was amazingly large and clean with a sitting area with the pull out couch and desk in the corner of the living room. Our bedroom was nicely furnished with two comfortable queen beds a lot of pillows which I love! Breakfast was very filling and delicious and the Chef made a point to come out and speak with several of the guests, ensuring that we had everything we wanted. When I speak about breakfast at a hotel, Hyatt Place really outdid themselves on it with their presentation and taste both days of our stay. The staff were very friendly and welcoming in their big Texas way and I believe the hotel manager was there enjoying breakfast with us each morning as well. The kids loved playing in the heated pool although the chairs are loud when moved around on the floor in the pool area. The water is inviting and just deep enough for everyone to enjoy themselves so a word of advice for you soon to be traveler; don’t forget to bring your goggles. Overall it was one of the best experiences in a hotel that I have had in the past 30 years of adult adventures.

I rarely write reviews but I have to say that our experience was so great, I had to take time to comment. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and eager to make our stay great. We had a late check in and after unpacking we realized that our A/C was blowing hot air. We called the front desk and they sent Jacobi up who attempted to fix the A/C and after 2 minutes excused himself and came back with a luggage cart and the key to another room. I had already hung up my clothes and he said I could move them to the next room on the hangers. He was sweet and apologetic and helpful. He took what was getting ready to be a volatile situation and diffused it with his professionalism and charm. I have four day meetings twice a year in College Station and I will always return to this hotel.

Room was a generous size and very clean. The property could probably use a little refreshing, but it’s fine. Staff - in particular Jennifer on check-in - were all friendly. Breakfast was pretty good. It’s not the most convenient hotel to the campus, but all things considered, it will be at the top of my list to return to.

The bathroom was terrible. Mold on ceiling from getting wet. Tiles popping up on the floor. Grout missing in the tile in the shower. The countertop was clean and the linens. Bathroom grossed me out.

It’s our third time staying in this hotel. Good location, friendly staffs, nice breakfast, spacious room. The AC unit in our room was kind of noisy. We enjoyed our stay.

The staff here were amazing! The nicest folks who genuinely seemed to love their jobs! The rooms are really comfortable for families with three beds, microwave and refrigerator. The bar in the lobby was great for hot afternoons when we needed a break with happy hour specials! Breakfast was delicious as well. We’ll be back!

The safety and the locations was nice and convenient for my family. I enjoyed the amenities with fresh breakfast serviced. There were some opportunities for improvement. One is the breakfast bar stocking of food. When items on the bar were low like the boiled eggs or the mixed fruit. The staff would not stock them back. Once its gone then there's no more for that day. The staff only puts enough out for the day to save some for the next day. So if breakfast last 3 hours then each item shouldn't be stocked for that time frame. Also, the only fruit that was served were a mix of strawberries and blueberries (only 1 time) and a mix of oranges, grapes, cantaloupes, and pineapples. Please look into servicing bananas on the bar. The 2nd things Hyatt coukd do better at is housekeeping. I booked a 6 day stay and housekeeping was requested for everyday. My room was only cleaned 1 time throughout my stay. I had to keep calling the front desk to get housekeeping services. So in other words i spent 1500 dollars for a 1 time housekeeping service. Thats not right and fair for this to be an 8 star hotel. Hyatt please take this feedback and grow to be better in making some quality changes.

We knew we would be arriving very late to the hotel. Jennifer was very understanding and efficient and helped us check-in so we would not lose our room. What we did not like, was the elevators smelled like the kitchen. We would stay there again.

My stayed here with my two toddlers and husband as a last minute choice due to Hurricane Beryl and not having power at our house. It was a quick 90 minute drive and also happened to be my birthday weekend. The hotel staff surprised me with a birthday basket and fresh baked cookies. It was so thoughtful. Will definitely stay again in the future
