Our room wasn’t ready so we were moved to another room. This room wasn’t clean enough. There was hair on the bed and in the tub. Particles of some sort were on the counter, on the floor and in the sink. Dust was everywhere. The phones didn’t work so maintenance came to fix it but couldn’t. Housekeeping came and picked the hair off of the bed and dropped it on the floor while asking do we need new sheets or something. I asked for a new room at that point. We moved into a room that was clean. We lost 2 hours and didn’t get to do what we’d planned upon arrival. We stayed 3 days and were bothered every day. Someone from house keeping knocked on the door and when I opened it she said never mind and she was looking for her cell phone and walked away. The next morning around 8am another staff member knocked and said someone sent him to our room to see if we needed anything. He gave us a hanger reminder about a free gift which was an opportunity to tour their new facility DURING our stay. Some knock on our door from the hotel later on saying they thought we checked out then someone knocked later on and we didn’t answer. Front desk call to remind us to pick up our “gift”. I told them we were being disturbed and I texted the front desk as well about it. They said that shouldn’t be happening and they would look into it. Then that night, another knock on the door that we ignored. At 8:30am the next morning someone knocked and said she was told we had checked out.

The hubby and I enjoyed our weekend getaway. The room was clean and exactly as advertised. The parking garage was a bit tight and a building over from the hotel itself but you do have the option to pay for valet parking which we opted not to do.

Commode wasn’t properly working tv and lights were on as if someone was already occupying room it was a little creepy i asked for another room I never got settled in next door room til after 8 pm they were a bit slow

The place was beautiful. Not sure where the picture of the stairs are.
Be careful I got charged extra thinking the mobile exclusive was an oceanfront but it was the same as partial.
Had beautiful kitchen supplied soap shampoo lotion body wash and had a washer and dryer in it. The hot tub nice.
Patio was small one chair could fit. Bed was the worst thing about it. I didn't sleep well both nights. Hard as a rock. I toss turned and tried to do anything. With all the beauty of the place. A place of rest is more important. I didn't get that. But thanks 👍

When we got to our 2 bedroom 2 bathroom suite, the walls and doors were in rough shape (marks, dirt on entrance door, fingerprints on sliders to balcony). Entering the batrooms the light switches and outlets had layers of "dirty" dust on the top edges. The headboard has layers of dust of the ridges right next to the pillows. The TV remote in the king bedroom was held together by green duct tape. There was a hole in one of the dining room chairs which made sitting in that chair uncomfortable. The pool bar was a dive and the only food at the bar were several variety of chips. The coffee cafe had gas station type sandwiches and overpriced coffee drinks. The view out of our suite was spectacular and the only other good thing was the closeness to the beach.

While the room finally got rid of that nasty, OLD carpet and vinyl flooring down, I'm not sure why they kept the 17 year old furniture. Furniture needs to be replaced. Looked behind the bed to find my charger and never saw so much dust. They must never pull those beds out and clean back there. Looks like 17 years of dust behind there. Only thing really good about the place is they still have Mariel at the front desk. I think we're finally done staying there after 17 years.

I loved the property and the clean room. I was very disappointed about the queen double room. The beds were horrible. They were noisy and felt like the springs were right on your back. It was very unfortunate because it was my husband's birthday vacation and his back hurt the whole time. I was being nice and gave my inlaws the king bed which was way more comfortable. My husband was not happy about it but sleeping in that double room, I did regret it after the fact. I feel all the beds should be comfortable paying the price for the 2 bedrooms. I paid less and had better comfort. Will I stay again, not sure. Overall, the hotel is very nice and the front desk employees were helpful and excellent. I always appreciate great customer service.

Cons it is very dated and my husband couldn’t sleep in bed he was so uncomfortable. The pool area was way too small to fit a hotel full of people. Pool area was dismal and one hot tub had green water in it which is why no one was in it. It was so far away from boardwalk to walk. Wouldn’t stay again

The room was beautiful. The amenities were great. Staff was super courteous and customer service oriented. We had a beautiful stay there. I definitely recommend this hotel. Everything worked in our room full size. Kitchen was great. Everything you need a home away from home. We will definitely be back.

My wife and I spent 2 nights here and no one cleans room unless you spend 5 nights or more. So, we had to call front desk and ask for clean towels. Could have gotten better customer service at a cheaper hotel. Will never book this place again.

This is a very dated place with huge issues! If you are a hard working individual, don’t spend your money here, you WILL regret it! The rooms were filthy, the rooms on the web are not the rooms they put you in. When I tried to ask for accommodation they did nothing, hold on they gave us $50 for the pool bar, not acceptable. We will never stay here again and maybe never back to Myrtle Beach. Sad

Best vacation ever and Anderson Ocean Club was the 'cherry on top'. Condo was wonderful. We stayed in a beautiful 2 bedroom 2 bath condo. Condo was spacious, clean a nicely decorated. Staff at Anderson were super friendly and accommodating. We'll definitely be returning to this hotel. No further shopping around needed!!!!

My sister and I live in separate states so we decided to have a 'sister week-end' at Myrtle Beach. We stayed at this hotel in an oceanfront 2 bed 2 bath condo with full kitchen, living and dining room. It was FABULOUS! The beds were very comfy and the condo was sooo spacious and clean. We were totally blown away and the staff was super friendly and accommodating. We plan to return to Anderson Ocean Club each year as long as we can!!
