Our stay was great, an excellent location. However whilst there is individual air conditioning, under and over certain temperatures it’s overridden and controlled by the hotel. We appreciate the temperature outside but the room and bathroom particularly were excessively hot. It was so hot we had to leave the balcony doors open all night even though it was 1 degree outside, probably lower through the night to try and bring the temperature down. This was only safe as we were on the second floor. It was totally unnecessary to heat the room to that extent and is a total waste of energy and not very green. The room was about 25 degrees!! We also would have liked to be able to get room service later. That said staff were lovely, the room was clean and it was a good base close to the train station, just one stop to central then the metro too. There are two flights of steep steps though so difficult from an access point of view from the pavement down to the hotel, we couldn’t see any other way around these. Access inside is excellent.

We love Copenhagen Island and continue to try and stay here whenever we need to spend one or more nights in Copenhagen. The location is great and there friendly and professional services is always great. This time Ann-Sophie did a great of helping me. The hotel was great but Hotels. Com was not I booked the hotel on a Monday early afternoon shortly after I booked the room I chatted with your service and you were not honest or helpful until I continued to contact your help services it took me over two days to change the date and the reservation was changed but not the same as the previous the hotel informed me of the mistake and we fixed your mistake. My concern as a customer of yours for many years is your customer service not being honest or reliable. I hope this will help you be better at your customer service.

Room was nice and clean but a little small in width found the road noise very disturbing and would probably insist on a room at the rear of the hotel if we stayed again

Very poor mattress. Had terrible backache. Pillows were completely flat. AC did not work at all and the staff told us just leave the balcony door open when u sleep. No complimentary tea/coffee in the room. Highly not recommend anyone to stay here.

We loved the area. It is accessible to public transportation from either direction, and there are lots of things to eat around the area. IKEA is across the street! It was an excellent eco-hotel. The only thing was that the towels smelled of mildew after a day or so, and we had a bit of mildew in the bathroom area.

The room was reasonably spacious and fairly clean. However, the check-out experience was disappointing due to an unprofessional staff member. Despite being informed at check-in and having a note stating breakfast was included, he attempted to charge for it, dismissing the note and implying I was confused. While mistakes happen, his rude and passive-aggressive demeanor was unacceptable. Such behavior, especially from someone at the front desk, reflects poorly on the hotel's customer service.

when i entered the property i met frau kutchurbalzhoff at the front desk...she did her best to make my life there bad...but i survived and still had fun in copenhagen despite her efforts to undermine my stay.

Great hotel, right on the harbour, great view and has an outdoor harbour pool next door, where you can swim for free. Some did at 5:30am before work!! Transport links are fantastic. Metro 5 min walk away. Really easy transfer from the airport on the Metro. The hotel send a brilliant email on best ways to travel there. Near big shopping centre. Quiet at night. Staff really lovely. Superb breakfast choices and although we didn’t need it, I noticed gluten free options and various milk alternatives. Hotel bar and restaurant closed on Sundays. Shame there wasn’t an alternative in the immediate area. Wish pillows had been a little more comfortable.

Staff were very good and the room itself was excellent with a nice view of the city. I will say that the room was too warm at night so it was difficult getting sleep. Also while the hotel having a gym is a positive, I would have preferred if there was more entertainment, even a pool table would have been nice. Overall, I enjoyed my stay.

The hotel is good. right next to a shopping mall. Pass the shopping mall, you can reach the metro station which can take you to the city center. Breakfast buffet is just ok.. Love the balcony with fresh air.
