This casa is operated by Terry and her husband Pedro. It is two blocks away from the beach, and it is one block away from the main street in Varadero. What sets this casa apart from others is Terry. She works very hard to keep her guests happy. She makes the best coffee and milk, to be enjoyed in her beautiful shaded garden. It's a great place to come back to after a hot day at the beach, shopping, or site-seeing. Terry speaks good English, and she goes above and beyond to help. I'll miss this place...this was my first trip to Varadero and my stay at Casa de Lida was a large part of what made it such a positive experience.

The owners of the house are really nice and lovely people. The house was clean and all facilities were good! (Price/quality). Fresh coffee and nice sweets everyday. Unique about this is that the owners can tell you alot about Varadero and Cuba, they speak English very well and are very helpfull. The garden is also a wonderfull place!

Very dirty, shower had no pressure at all, we didnt have water half of the time. Last day we came back from the beach at eight pm, there was no water, we couldnt take a shower, we used the restroom and we couldnt flash it since there was no water so everything stayed for 12 hours until we left. The owner cut the water supply. That room was not in a condition to used, they just wanted the money no matter what... Would not even send my mother in law there.
