The apartment was clean. Water does spill onto the bathroom floor when you shower so the design could be a little better but you can always request more bath mats. The staff are very helpful and respond quickly to your emails.check in/out is very easy. If you have any issues they resolve it right away. The common areas is not well lit but the hallways to the apartments have very good lighting. They common areas do need a good deep clean but in general the apartments are ok. Close to grocery stores and ample parking.

The communication with the Iceland Comfort Apartments team was excellent. All the questions and concerns were answered immediately. Big thank you to Kamelia and Nikol…just to mention the names I got to personally communicate with.
The location is convenient if you have a rental car to travel…pretty close to the highway. The acces to the building and to the room is easy…no key to worry about. The room had the minimal essentials (barroom and the kitchenette). I really appreciated the washing machine and the dryer- very convenient for travelling only with Cary-ons.
Negatives:
There were days when neighbours cooked fish or shellfish- the entire building smelled not very pleasant.
The kitchenette lacks a few “musts”: a toaster would be good, a vine bottle opener is necessary, paper towels instead of cloth towels.
The bathroom was run down - the shower had no shower head holder and when showering the whole bathroom would flood- no curtain.

The property was VERY convenient to downtown. There is a grocery store right across the street which was awesome. Only thing was they were doing construction because of a leak when we were there so a bit messy, but understandably so. Overall our stay was great!

This is a great deal. A very affordable apartment with kitchen and all the extras not too far from Reykjavik. The staff are very responsive with any questions or issues.

Loved this apartment. It was clean and comfortable and it was nice to be able to cook some food... Mainly ate breakfast at the apartment to save some money. Thank you to the lady working in customer service as she resolved the issue promptly and it wasnt a huge inconvenience. Property is undergoing renovations on each floor, so its a bit messy. The apartment itself was clean, but there was no toilet paper holder, the faucets in kitchen and bathroom were not held in place, the shower pressure was low and it took a very long time for water to become hot. Apartment had a weird smell. Bed was comfy, good lighting, good amenities (fridge, microwave etc) quiet at night. Parked in the front, grocery store across st, 10 min drive to Reykjavik centre.

This property is under full renovation and only has a limited number of units ready. Hallways are filthy with plaster dust . If you want to be awoken at 7:15am like I was on a Sunday to the sounds of drilling and hammering this is the place for you.

The only thing I’d note is that while there the location is renovating which meant our floor was an active construction zone during the day. It didn’t disturb our stay much (except for the morning they tested the fire alarm system at 8 am), but it would have been nice if the property had communicated that with us. Other than that, public transport was easy to access and the grocery store is right there. Would stay again!

NO TV, STINGING NOISE AT NIGHT, DIRTY TOILET, INSECTS ETC. What a mess. TV didn't work and instead of fixing the TV issues I described in detail they had two different guys bringing me two remotes to "program myself", although the remotes weren't the problem. One night for several hours there was a high pitching noise. The toilet came dirty and they had insect infestation in the bathroom. They responded to emails, but didn't try to solve problems. I even made them a VIDEO explaining the problems, but nothing. Horrible.

Great location outside of the hustle and bustle of the city centre but also only a short drive into Reykjavic. Self check in work very well with easy to follow instructions. Appartment was clean with all necessary amenities. A good selection of local shops inc a great coffee shop and supermarket.
