The lobby often doesn’t have anyone at the desk and it could use a remodeling. The lobby is also very small. However, the rooms were very clean. It was quiet considering the hotel was sold out for the weekend. We did not try the restaurant on site. There are several breweries nearby and downtown Richmond is less than 20min without traffic. There is a hotel mini mart which has a wide variety of snacks and drinks. The only real downside is the hotel only has 1 elevator which is not enough for the size of the hotel.

This is not the worst place I have stayed at, but I was very unimpressed. When I checked in to the room, there was food particles on the floor and the surfaces were not clean. The next day I told the front desk and asked that they clean the room and vacuum. When I came back from the event, the same food particles were on the rug, surfaces were still dirty, and they took the half roll of toilet paper away (why?). luckily there was an unopened new roll under the sink. They did however change the towels. I didn't make a fuss because my stay was already half over. That night, my wife and daughter visited me and wanted to see the room. We got out of the car and the air was full of pot smoke (we were close to the smoking area). then we walked in the door and there were two ladies rolling a blunt in the hallway. Or maybe they were just putting tobacco back in their cigar. Anyway, I told my 10 year old daughter to not pay attention to it and we went up to the room. So anyway... I dont think I would every stay there again. Hopefully my experience is the exception.

Staff was very friendly. Room was spacious and comfortable. My only disappointment was the surprising lack of shuttle service to the airport... you might want to add $30 to your budget because you'll have to take Uber/Lyft to get to the property if you're flying in to RIC.

We have stayed here many times and have always had a good experience, this time was terrible!! The majority of the staff were very RUDE. We went to get coffee and they ran out of coffee cups, stirrers and creamer. How does a hotel who offers coffee as a complimentary run out of supplies for their guests?? Asked for clean towels and was told we had to bring the dirty towels down before they would give us clean towels. Made us feel like we were stealing their towels. When we brought dirty towels down so we could get clean towels the desk attendant told the laundry attendant there were more dirty towels, she said “ oh my god “. Maybe if they did their house keeping we wouldn’t have to bring dirty towels down to get clean towels. We will be looking for another hotel with better hospitality next time we come in town. Very disappointed.

This is a disaster. I got there and they did not have my reservation. Fortunately they had a room. Now I’m looking on MasterCard and I’ve been overcharged 3x’s for $466 for a one night stay please help…

Staff were polite and friendly. The motel was clean ond refreshing!

Had a queen room booked for weeks, show up and told that my room wasn't available so I was upgraded but not to worry because I wouldn't be charged for the upgrade.. the "upgrade" was being moved to a room with double beds and was expected to not only be happy about it but thankful that she didn't upcharge me. I asked repeatedly if there was any kings or Queens available and was told no My business partner who made his reservation several days after I did and arrived for check-in. 4 hours after I did was given a queen! Horrible experience! I hope the manager does something about the woman who does the nighttime check-ins. She has no business working in customer service anywhere

The AC did not work good enough in my room. In my parent’s room there was no way to turn the AC off or make it warmer. My shower head had major leaks and water was going on the floor of the bathroom. I placed towels down to soak up the water.
