Shanghai-La is a very nice place to stay! Lots of great things to do around as well and we love their buggy service and the staff was AMAZING 😊😊😊

Wow the staff is so organized and thoughtful. They thought of things we didn't think of that made our stay even better. The Shangri-la is by far the best resort we have stayed at and we have stayed at Four Seasons, St Regis, Fairmont and JW Signature resorts all over the world. Shangri-la cannot be beat.

We are guests who checked out on August 4th. We stayed in villa 34 and reserved name is Nahyun Lee. This was my second visit to Shangri-La in Boracay, so I booked it expecting the same experience as before, but this time it was the worst experience. The staff told me to send an email to the manager, so I sent this email, so please check it and reply asap. That day, We clearly heard the machinery warning sound coming from bedroom door at 5 o'clock and woke up to the sound. After that, we contacted our villa manager's personal contact cell phone and the manager came soon. The manager said there was no problem and left. Because of that problem, we had no choice but to wake up early and go to the spa before breakfast, but this time the key was a problem. After the spa, the room wouldn't open, so we had to stand outside in our pajamas and wait for the buggy driver, and the key problem was repeated twice. So we were finally able to eat breakfast at 7:50. The appointment with the pickup driver was at 8:00, but for the above reason, we had to eat breakfast in a hurry for 10 minutes. We had to eat breakfast in a hurry for the remaining 10 minutes. In the meantime, the manager urged us, saying that the pick-up driver was waiting. I want answers about strange noises in the early hours of the morning, wasting precious time before check-out due to a malfunctioning key card, and leaving a guest in his pajamas outside for the purpose of checking in. It was the worst honeymoon.

Shangri-la never disappoints. My only complain this time is the Rema Restaurant. We made a reservation there for our last night at the hotel as some sort of a celebration. The restaurant was described as mediterranean. The food was nowhere close to mediterranean. The food in Jollibee would have tasted better, yet it was so overpriced. The mosquito was overpowering the dinner experience.

Shangri-La Boracay is truly a magical, tropical paradise. The hotel is situated at the end of the island with a private beach. All the staff provided excellent services and should be commended as such. The food is excellent as well. It was very hard for us to leave this place, so we plan on coming back.

Our stay was excellent, except that the airconditioner was not working properly. Our balcony door was closed but the temp was still hot, despite adjusting room temp to 18deg. It was hot in our room. Had to call maintenance twice Couldn’t sleep properly.

Had a great stay. It was nice to have boat service and ground transportation from the airport. We arrived early after a long flight from SFO, and they gave us a room to shower while our villa was prepared. The only issue I had was we splurged on a tree house Villa, you would have expected to see the ocean from bed instead of trees. Sounds weird to say but the upstairs had a beautiful view and the other villas were situated to see a beautiful view…but for some reason they stuck us in the corner. Otherwise the service was great, food was great, amenities were great…but I would recommend just getting a normal beachfront room.
