Upon arrival it felt like a drug den! Found out later it used to be, and it was a quarantine motel during C time!! Vents all over the room were dusty and dirty. Not just a fine line, im talking dust bunnies! The bathroom was ridiculous! Barely hot water, cracks all through the shower tiles, bed side table was marked by what looked like cigarette burns. Did not trust the balcony. The lock in the outside of our door for the key card was missing the top cover which didnt give alot of confidence. The room did not match the photos. It is in a great location, just wish it was cleaned up a little more.

Firstly, the staff here was great, they took great care of us and the beds were very comfortable. The bad: The suite was advertised to sleep 6 and it did not. Our room was as clean as it could be, but the tub was falling apart and was "covered" on the bottom that was some kind of plaster something that was coming up. The walls in the bathroom were crumbling. The hot water took a while to get, and there was mold on the ceiling of the bathroom. The " kitchenette" was very small and not really designed for cooking. We also had to request all the kitchen items, which took a while sometimes. We asked about laundry facilities which was advertised, and was told that there was a laundry mat a mile away. It was also advertised that parking was available and when we got there we were told it was valet only and mandatory $45 a day for parking, which were not expecting. The good: we didn't spend a lot of time at the hotel, so the flaws are not something that weighed heavily on our family. They also gave us a snack treat everyorning. If you are just looking for a place to sleep and keep your stuff at, this a good place, it is close to many fun things and the beach!!!

During checkin, hotel staff asked for US$89/room amenity fee which was out of my expectation. No room clean up for the second day even I requested when I returned from outside. No breakfast was provided, just snack and canned drinks.

Prior two weeks, there was no Air conditioning. On the 17th of October there was no hot water. Front desk there has no Aloha personality. Just straight faced business. Their concern about the conditions there was “it is what it is”. I’m local and I feel sport for the tourists who experience these conditions. Shame on you Ohia!!!😢

Weather was hot and humid. Supposedly AC was broken and emergency AC repair was happening. Hotel staff didn’t provide and fans. Leaving windows or sliding door open means you hear the noise from the street and bars across the street. Room lacked supplies…there’s oven but no pots or pans, no microwave. Water was always warm or hot, leaking showers. Unable to stay /rest in the room during the day since heat was unbearable. Not a good experience in paradise. Staff was not friendly or helpful. Additional $45/day for parking

The room is not like the photos on the website. Our bathroom door wouldn't close because it hit the toilet. Then the toilet started leaking around the base and we had urine on the floor. They then told use because of this, we had to move, but they told us at 10 PM at night and didn't give us an option. I would not recommend this hotel nor would I ever stay here again. I will say the staff were amazing and the one saving grace of our stay. Especially Ethan. He did everything he could to help us.

Hi, My stay at the Ohia Hotel went well. The staff are very welcoming and very helpful.The hotel is very well located and you can get around safely on foot.The hotel is close to all shops and restaurants. I would recommend this hotel. Pool was rented out last night I was there so I didnt get to use it and the whole reason I picked this place. Room pictured in expedia was not room at all very out dated and smelled bad.Also asked for a pot to boil water and they never brought it.

Location is prime. Staff spent 2 hours after checking us in to find us another room because ac was broken and outlets didn’t work to change our things. Certain staff member was rude and treated us like we were trash. But she catered to her race. I would never recommend that hotel.

The hotel is very conveniently located, right on Waikiki Beach. Complimentary coffee and water were available on the first floor and the staff was pleasant and helpful. I would use this hotel again.

Do NOT stay at this location unless you like mold, cracked wood, leaking ac units, broken windows, and the smell of bleach. This place is such a catfish i cant believe they are still open for business.

The hotel’s interior is very dirty, from the reception area to the rooms. It’s clear that no effort has been made to maintain cleanliness or the overall appearance. Upon entering the room and turning on the light, you immediately see hundreds of small cockroaches scurrying across the kitchen and countertop, with some larger ones on the walls. The bathroom has a foul, old, and dirty odor, and the windows to the outside are covered in layers of dust and grime, as are the ceilings.

Had a stove in the room but not utensils, had to go done the the front desk, limited plates in room. Couldn’t really have a meal in room let alone breakfast. Parking was $45 US per night extra

The valet was great, $40 a night which is almost average for downtown parking and this way you don’t have to walk to your hotel after parking and waste time searching for a spot. Hotel and staff were great at a great price.

The photos in the ad were very misleading the room was not very clean, entire place needs an update. But its my own fault for thinking i was going a halfway decent room for the price. The shower was smaller than a phone booth. Entire bathroom maybe the size of a small closet. There were snack left in cabinet from previous guests. The only chair had nasty stains on it, towels and sheets im sure were white at some point in their existence not anymore. Balconies separated by shotty plywood. The monthly snack was pathetic but better than nothing (?). Over 2 weeks since we stayed and wasn't trying to write a review but they kept notifying me to do one, so here it is. The pool had trash in it for days probably still there now. If you stay i suggest filling your entire fay with activities so when you get back to you room you can just sleep and not think about your horrible surroundings. Ended up staying an extra night at the Hilton around the corner, simply so we could stay in comfort for atleast one night. Trust the reviews people.
