Had the pleasure to book an amazing thing everyone that can should try. Casual Friday at Görväln Castle. You arrive after 17.00 and you have a very smooth and welcoming check -in. You get your room that is very comfortable in the renovated facilities of this castell that have a lot of history. Very Boutique hotel decorated with the crown of everything is the Mille Notti bed and the bed linen that can not be described but have to be experienced. Kicked of the shoes and enjoyed some champagne in the room and just relaxed and got into weekend mood. Then at 20.00 we had a reservation in the restaurant where there is a pre-booked fixed menu for Casual Friday guests, very high-end food and their amazing Sommelier had prepared a fantastic wine package to accommodate the 4 dishes. Job well done, could have been a bit more wine in the glasses but it was very interesting and complementing wines. After these 4 amazing dishes served and explained by the chef himself. You where invited to the second floor for relaxing and enjoying a drink after dinner, we choose a traditional Gin & Tonic, but the young apprentice Adam made it into a very special drink with cucumber and black pepper in a very balanced and great way. After an amazing sleep in the beautiful room it was time for breakfast and a very relaxed and smooth start of the Saturday. Left relaxed and pampered with an amazing start of the weekend. If you get the chance, please try this! We are so glad we did.

This place is not for the lazy or handicap but it is a nice place to stay in comparison with the other places we've stayed abroad. You can wander this castle property and explore the waterline, view a koi pond, and tour the castle gardens. The rooms are comfortable and you are provided with luxuries such as a hair dryer. Just keep in mind you will need to walk a lot. You don't stay in the main castle, however you will eat there and be able to explore it. I would recommend to the hotel they provide a golf cart to haul guests and luggage to their rooms since it is quite a hike. If you are jet lagged or tired it will prove to be difficult. They give you a map to find the room but not specific instructions, so you could end up walking past your building and onto a walking trail as we did.

Really nice and beautiful hotel! Amazing views! The breakfast was delicious and the service really nice. The bed was a little unstable which made sounds when you turned or even just sat on it.

Amazing rooms, quiet, great food and the ambience is perfect. Have visited both alone through work (perfect after a hectic day woth meetings), arranged conferance there and visited with my husband. Perfect on all occations. Bring running shoes, great trails!

The location was beautiful and the food amazing. There were some things in the room that wasnt working, but the staff was friendly and hopefully they will fix it for other guests. The dinner was exceptional, and the breakfast delicious and fresh.
