WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Loved the property it’s really beautiful our room was perfect. We had a plunge pool in the patio so it was perfect. We truly enjoyed our one night stay wish I would have booked for longer. The service at the restaurant was really nice. The server was really attentive and friendly. We did see a tarantula and snake but it’s part of the jungle. They did remove the tarantula that was on the stairs. It’s a gorgeous hacienda and not far from the city. Highly recommended this place it’s worth visiting. It’s really clean and the experience of the jungle is very nice.

We had the privilege of staying at this hotel, but unfortunately, we were only able to stay for one night. If we had had more time, we would have stayed at least a week. The property is truly breathtaking, a real haven of beauty and serenity. Every detail is meticulously cared for with rare perfection, and the atmosphere is simply enchanting. The staff is also amazing, attentive, and exceptionally kind, making our stay absolutely unforgettable. I sincerely hope to return and extend this memorable experience. A big thank you to Anette for her exceptional service.

If you’re considering it, just book it. This place is wonderful. We booked a trip to Mérida to explore the sights and to consider it as an expat community. Unfortunately, we did less exploring than planned because the hotel, staff and grounds are perfect. The restaurant, Casa de Piedra, is nice. They have great lattes and cappuccinos, regional cuisine (try the huitlacoche crepes and the poc chuc), and some tasty Italian/seafood dishes. We spent most of our days in the Olympic-sized swimming pool and the surrounding cabanas. Leslie at the Lol-Ha bar made sure we had everything we needed from towels, to margaritas, to suggestions of off-site activities. Our room had its own private plunge pool and patio, which was also an excellent way to unwind. The grounds are meticulously maintained and make you feel as though you’re in the tropics. If you walk the paths, you may just see a tamandua (cute anteater) in the trees. We were warned of construction noise before arrival. I was worried. Honestly, it was negligible. All staff were helpful and friendly. We did not cross paths with anyone without a hello and good morning, etc. We do not speak Spanish and it was no problem whatsoever. Everyone was more than accommodating. Antonio, Elias, Leslie, Miguel, Tony, and both Victors really went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The worst part was leaving. I would not hesitate to stay at Hacienda Xcanatun in the future. Again, if you’re considering it, book it.
