Weekend getaway. Our room was really cold and we were quickly moved to a suite with a fire place. The heat didn’t work in this room either but the fire place kept us warm. Water pressure in the shower was dismal. Breakfast was just ok.

We found bed bugs in our room and alerted the front desk. We were assured that our stay would be taken care of and they moved us to a new room. No manager has reached out not has the stay been taken care of as promised . Do not stay here

Hotel was very old. Dark. Dated. No parking at hotel. You have to park your car across the street in a gated parking lot. No access for dropping off luggage in front of hotel. Room was extremely dated and very dark. Inadequate and untrained staff.

Had a great 2 night stay at the Giacomo. Parking is gated and directly across the street. It is depressed neighborhood but safe and walkable. It is in a touristy area and very close to the rapids and road to goat island. There are several food trucks during the day and a few evening dining options. Breakfast was typical hotel buffet style and the staff was very friendly and helpful. It is actually part condo and part hotel. There are some decor issues which could be improved but overall very pleasant.

My only regret is that we only had one night in this beautiful historic hotel. Our room was huge with a corner fireplace and several windows. We walked to Niagara Falls from the hotel and loved the free secure parking lot we could leave our car in. There is a lounge on the 18th floor to watch fireworks from! The bar was beautiful with several cozy seating areas. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, especially the blueberry topping for our French toast! I will be recommending this hotel to anyone headed this way and hope to stay here again 💕

Loved the boutique feel, however when got to room the first thing I pulled bedding back and there was hair on the sheets, I continued into the bathroom and there was more hair in the shower. The commode seat needed to be replaced b/c the vinyl was flaking off. Mattress had dips on both sides to the point you pretty much rolled out of the bed. The climate controlled unit made a gurgling sound all night along with some other loud noise ever so often. The fruit particularly the cantaloupe and pineapple at breakfast were beyond ripe.

Incredible view of fireworks indoors 19th floor. Wonderful staff and friendly guests. Nice bar and yummy cookies. I was alone single woman and I felt safe. Excellent secured parking. I will definitely stay again. A charming convenient short walk to everything. I wish they had a hot tub, that is the only thing missing. Charming king bedroom and nice shower.

You advertise an amenities that the hotel does not offer and that was one of the reasons I chose the hotel. I booked three rooms in the same issues were among my friends. They did not clean our rooms on a daily basis or even make up our beds on a daily basis. It was a pure beating. our room keys had to be re-keyed on a daily basis. Expedia advertised upgrading to Cityview room. They do not offer that I looked at bricks when I brought it to their attention they said they do not offer that that was Expedia. Expedia advertised hot tub. They do not have one highly highly disappointed. And would like a response back.

Staying at the Giacomo was a great experience. Staff was friendly, room was clean and the Breakfast attendants were both very polite, food was very tasty! We didn’t get a chance to experience the luxurious bath robs but we truly enjoyed our stay. Thanks for a great stay! See you again in future endeavors!

We had an anniversary trip and this hotel was awesome. The room was pretty spacious and the fireplace and whirlpool bath were just what we needed. Comfy bed and breakfast was pretty good however the sun was beating right in where we sat and it’d be nice if they had blinds. The parking across the street was fine and it’s gated which was nice to not have to worry about the car. Staff was super friendly. The decor is very nice. Very cool looking hotel. We nicknamed it Spook Central for Ghostbusters. Definitely would stay again. Walking distance to the Falls was about 10 minutes and was easy to find. Some decent restaurants nearby. We are planning to come back very soon!

Place is beautiful. Very swanky. Staff was fantastic. Main bed was very comfortable! Breakfast was ok. Nothing spectacular by any means and finding a seat was rough for a family of four. If you are traveling as a family, please get a room that is more than one bed. The pullout couch was incredibly uncomfortable. The 19th floor was a treat though as was the bar area! 100% would recommend being aware of the bed situation.
