Newly built large studio apartment above garage on 2 &1/4 acres on Flander’s Bay with 289’ of waterfront with pebbly beach. South facing so you can enjoy amazing sunsets right from your home away from home!! A peaceful paradise on the water.
BEST PART is the LOCATION- this home is located between both parts of ACADIA NATIONAL PARK. 31 miles from the main part of Acadia NP on Mount Desert Island near Bar Harbor and 11 miles away from Schoodic Peninsula on the quiet side.
The space
This new large studio apartment above the garage with king bed and pull out queen sleeper sofa bed. Full bathroom with heated floors & Bluetooth speaker. Kitchen with everything you need, coffee and fixing, tea & condiments. 532 square feet and has 7’ ceilings with lots of windows which gives this space an expansive feeling! Huge deck overlooking the bay with driveway leading down to the water. Idyllic peaceful Maine coastline on the bay with huge rock, spruce and lobster boats. BRAND NEW AMAZING LISTING!!
Guest access:
You will also have access to laundry room on the ground level which is included in your stay and has detergent and dryer sheets.

Note:
- This apartment has 7 foot ceilings but has an expansive feel to this space
- Must be able to walk up 12 steps
- Not suitable for infants and toddlers unless you have everything that you need equipment wise. *******Also from Sept 6 through-end of October I will not be on site and the colorful Adirondacks chairs will be put away for the season. I will leave 2 portable folding chairs in the laundry room so you have access the outdoor seating and I will also leave one hammock in the laundry room for ur use. Hooks to hang the hammock are mounted on the decking on ground floor by the grill. You can still use the bon fire area and can buy camp firewood locally. JUST OBSERVED 8/11/2024 & 8/12/2024 The aurora borealis (Northern Lights) from my property with IPhone 15 using camera with no flash. DREAM COME TRUE🎉✅

Everything about our stay exceeded expectations. The location was exactly what we wanted; quiet and away from the crowds of Bar Harbor but still close enough to drive in for shopping, restaurants and Acadia. Depending on traffic, it took about 40-45 minutes to get to Bar Harbor/Acadia. The drive was beautiful and easy. Personally we drove down three days during our stay. There are also a number of good restaurants close to the property and Ellsworth has a really cute Main Street about 20 minutes away with shopping and restaurants. Ellsworth also has a Walmart and big box stores if you need supplies. The property is absolutely stunning. There is a lot of open space for kids to play and there is direct access to the ocean. During low tide, our kids loved going down to the water to look for sea shells, crab claws, etc. The outdoor fire pit overlooks the ocean and the sunsets were incredible. Inside the property provides everything you need with some high end finishes. While the apartment is one large room (not including the bathroom), the layout feels quite open and large and was perfect for our family of four. The best part was the huge sliding glass door and large outdoor porch area looking out at the ocean! Lesley was an amazing host and incredibly responsive and helpful. She was located near the property and our two boys loved Ms. Lesley. She took the time to connect with them and showed them how to clam! This is an incredible place and we cant wait to come back!

Lesley is amazing and she has created a wonderful place to stay. She's a super host! This was perfect for us and we truly enjoyed schoodic peninsula on several days. Blueberry Hill was our favorite along with several other spots not so heavy w us tourists 😆. We picked this spot bc we wanted to do the highlights of Acadia on MDI as well as its schoodic peninsula with the option to do Campobello. We did all of that and so much more. Our kids were troopers hiking for 8 miles on our last full day! We picked so many blueberries it was just a delight! The weather was all over the place but we just rolled with it. This was our first national park trip as a family and it was truly memorable ❤️.

Everything was better than described and property exceeded expectations. Lesley was a perfect host and very knowledgeable about the area and very responsive. 5 Stars all around.
