About this cottage rental

This fully equipped and furnished one story, 2 bedroom bungalow (with a twin hide-a-bed in the living room area) will appeal to your ideas of a relaxing vacation! If you desire internet, this home is so equipped and has Wi-Fi! Just bring your clothing and personal care items! The East facing deck off the living room lets you watch the gorgeous sun AND moon rises over beautiful, relaxing Lake Winnebago! A 40' dock for you to fish from, or step into the water from it's ladder for swimming! We STRONGLY RECOMMEND WATER SHOES because of the zebra mussel shells. We provide both a pedal boat and kayak for your waterfront use at no extra charge! Complete with flat screen TV's in the living room and both bedrooms, your entertainment needs will be met. There is also a large side yard for activities such as croquet, badminton or volleyball, when you might be taking a break from your waterfront activities. The kitchen is fully equipped, stocked with anything needed for your culinary desires. There is an electric glass top range, double door refrigerator/freezer with water and ice dispensers, built-in dishwasher and microwave too! In the event you need to wash clothes, there is a 1st floor washer and dryer for your use. So............make your reservation for a relaxing stay at "Shorewood". It is directly west of and across the lake from our other rental called "Twilight", and just a few minutes from the city limits of Oshkosh, WI. Close to boat ramps, parks, grocery stores and restaurants! Sorry, Strictly, no pets allowed in consideration of future guests who may have allergies. Strictly, no parties or events allowed!

Our stay at this location was nothing short of delightful. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the breathtaking view that greeted us each day—it truly enhanced our experience. The house itself was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, making us feel right at home. We appreciated that everything we could possibly need was thoughtfully provided, from kitchen essentials to comfortable bedding. The communication with the host was top-notch, always prompt and helpful, which made the whole process smooth and stress-free. We genuinely enjoyed our time here and would not hesitate to return. If you're considering a stay, we highly recommend it for its cleanliness, scenic views, and outstanding service.

The property is cute, clean and cozy with a beautiful view of the sunrise (and moon) over the lake. Nice, quiet neighborhood with ample outside space to enjoy and a private dock. The beds unfortunately are VERY firm (too firm to be comfortable) and really need at least a pillow/foam topper to help guests get a good night's sleep. There is plenty of room for a group of 4 to sleep and relax but not a big enough table inside for them to dine together/play a game (there is one out on the patio) - so if the weather is rainy/cool you are a bit limited in trying to make a coffee table/TV trays work. The paddle boat made it fun to get out on the lake to float & enjoy these last days of summer. Overall a lovely property.

We had a relaxing, enjoyable time at “SHOREWOOD.” We were greeted with a whole binder full of information to make sure we had everything we needed. The house was so cute and clean…and the neighborhood was quiet. Lake Winnebago is HUGE and the hammock, fishing poles, and kayak were a big hit with the kids...they are already talking about coming back again!

This weekend was a time for us to get away from the stress of life, and man did it work. Listening to the water lap on the shoreline, birds chirping and time on the deck to relax was what the Dr ordered. The house was perfect.

What a great property and rental experience! Good communication from the owners. Comfortable stay with plenty of space for my husband and I and our two children (4 and 6). Beautiful views of the lake from the living room and the porch/pier. Feels quite private despite some neighbors, but the outdoor area is spacious enough. Close to downtown Oshkosh and restaurants yet you feel as though you're on a beach vacation. Good kitchen amenities for cooking-in or grilling. We would definitely consider booking again when in the area!
