La suite s’avère être une chambre d’hôte avec un lit plus petit que ce qui est précisé dans l’annonc

Nous avions réservé une suite avec lit King size. À aucun moment il était précisé dans l’annonce qu’il s’agissait d’une chambre chez l’habitant. Nous sommes donc surpris d’être accueillis au domicile de l’hôte, de surcroît avec un lit Queen site et non King size. Inenvisegeable pour nous de dormir chez l’hôte, elle nous propose alors une suite sur le même palier avec un lit 140. Mon compagnon qui est grand avait les pieds qui dépassaient (raison pour laquelle nous avions réservé un suite avec lit King size) et n’a pas dormi de la nuit. Nous avons lu plusieurs messages de voyageurs se plaignant des mêmes choses ces dernières années. L’hôte manque donc volontairement de transparence sur la nature des chambres proposées afin d’attirer les voyageurs. Nous ne recommandons absolument pas ce logement dont le prix n’est absolument pas en adéquation avec la qualité et la transparence des services.

Charming

The apartment is absolutely charming. As is the host!! The view is lovely. The parking was great. Proximity to the tram stop is very good.

The location is good for the airport, but the distance from the city is possibly a bit far for good exploring there.

Not as described or expected.

The room was very clean and well supplied with bed linen, towels, plus dressing gowns and slippers. The owner was a very lovely lady and keen to help and answer our questions. The balcony was nice to have and the view over the city was interesting at night. Watching the sunrise was a real pleasure.

The room was not as pictured and was very small with a lot of furniture in which made it tricky to move around the room. It was a room in a flat with the owner which took us by surprise and made us feel quite uncomfortable.

Gorgeous bedroom in a shared apartment with a private shower room. There were so many amenities that aren’t available in hotels.

It was close to the Hospital where we needed to be early in the morning.

That we were under the impression that we had booked the suite fortuny - but instead had the "small" room. And it was very small, barely a double, as the room is packed with objet d'art That it is shared with the owner. (should be made clearer) That there is no ensuite bathroom - there is a bathroom and toilet on the otherside of the hall which you have private use of - but not ensuite. (Should be made clearer) That the balcony is shared with the other suite (ok it is separated by a few potted plants - but non the less you don't feel that you can relax. (should be made clearer) That the "breakfast" area was literally the other side of the partition sliding door. That our room was not lockable - you could put a chain across when you were in there, but could not lock it when you left for the evening. That there was no privacy

It was deceptive. The pictures shown on this booking it not what you are booking. You are getting one room and sharing with the hostess and one other. This should have been clear. Please update this to keep others from being disappointed.

Luxurious private studio good for both business and leisure next to Bordeau

Amazing place thanks to: - The mirorrs, everywhere - The baldaquin bed - The view from the balcony - The trust of the owner to let us alone in her appartment for the weekend - The breakfast - The silence and discretion - Right next to a tram station that gives acces to the city center

- The painting above the bed was beautiful but so impractical because our necks and backs kept touching it - The shower had only an overhead, no flexible head so quite hard to reach some areas of the body

This is actually an apartment with two guest rooms in residential high-rise. Very conveniently located near tram into Bordeaux. Very clean and pretty. The hostess is exceptional. Recommend if you like more homelike accommodation.

A great stay in Bordeaux

The Apartment was located close to the Bordeaux tram system and this made it easy to get around and explore the city. There is a great view of the city and breakfast on the balcony in the mornings was worth the trip. The sunset was not so bad either.

Exceptional stay with a delightful host.

This was a last minute reservation as I needed a place to stay whilst en route to my final destination. And what a marvelous surprise! It was like staying at a 4 star hotel without the stuffy atmosphere. The room was beautifully decorated with lots of personal touches and an outstanding view from the balcony. Vivienne is a delightful host and made me feel very much at home. Nothing was too much for her as she let me use her microwave and fridge, etc. The bathroom was also like staying in a lovely hotel with fresh towels, bathrobes and toiletries. I had a great nights sleep too in a beautiful, comfortable bed. It is ideally located for Bordeaux, but even for the beaches of Lacanau, Le Porge or Andernos as it is only a 45 minute drive. Highly recommended.

Less than expected

Room decoration, parking and easy access to public transportation.

It is not a hotel. Besides, the Toilet and shower are shared with the owner!!! No privacy. No air conditioning, very hot on summer.
