The cottage is thoughtfully designed on one level, ensuring easy accessibility for guests with mobility challenges. Out front, you'll find two iconic red Muskoka chairs, perfect for relaxing and taking in the serene surroundings.
At the heart of the home lies a picturesque courtyard, complete with a hot tub that comfortably seats 6 to 8 people, surrounded by local plants and a striking red tree. Whether you choose to unwind in the egg chair or lounge on the patio set, this space is perfect for both daytime relaxation and nighttime stargazing. Tobermory's clear night skies offer spectacular views of stars and planets, and you might even catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights.
Our cottage is an eco-friendly haven, utilizing heat pumps for heating and cooling without burning fossil fuels, and LED lighting throughout. The cottage is insulated with spray foam to enhance energy efficiency and equipped with an ERV system to keep the indoor air fresh.
A 35-foot dock invites you to relax, practice yoga, or take the provided kayaks out on the water. Discover the hidden fairy garden if you can! The custom-made firepit is perfect for hosting large gatherings of family and friends, while the lookout deck provides stunning vistas of Lake Huron and the surrounding nature.
For entertainment, the cottage features a 75” smart home TV with an impressive sound system and a 60” fireplace. There are four bedrooms, including two master bedrooms with ensuite washrooms and two additional bedrooms with lofts, each accommodating a queen bed and a double bed. The smart home wiring allows for voice commands to control lighting and music.
The spacious kitchen is equipped with an island, stainless-steel appliances, and a Miele coffee machine, while the large dining room boasts a live-edge table that seats more than 10 people. The games room offers a foosball table, air hockey table, real darts, badminton rackets and netting, a basketball hoop with a special foam ball, and a variety of board games.
Step outside to the backyard patio, where you'll find a pizza oven, BBQ, and outdoor seating under a 40 x 10 foot pergola adorned with string lights. The washer and dryer on site, along with a wash basin and ironing board, ensure convenience for extended stays. For eco-conscious travelers, the Tesla EV charger with an extra-long cable is a welcome addition.
The cottage boasts the best water filtration system, providing clean, safe water for drinking and bathing. Fast internet throughout the property makes it an ideal spot for working remotely or holding meetings. Enjoy a stroll along the beautifully carved paths that wind through the property, making you feel as if you're in a nature park.
Located just 10 minutes from the town of Tobermory, the cottage offers easy access to numerous restaurants, small shops, and the stunning national parks. Tobermory, known as the 8th wonder of Canada, is a breathtaking vacation spot at the northern tip of the Bruce Peninsula. It is home to Fathom Five National Marine Park and numerous shipwrecks, making it the scuba diving center of the Great Lakes. Hikers will relish the world-famous 700-kilometre Bruce Trail.
