The two cottages of this duplex each offer a wide range of amenities and updated, stylized charm. When rented together, there are five bedrooms, two bathrooms, a detached laundry room off the garage with a third bathroom, two kitchens, dual living spaces to hang out, and off-street parking for two cars. Wave riders will also have a couple of boogie boards and plenty of beach towels at their disposal! One king-size bed, three queen beds, and two twins allow for sleeping up to ten guests. The obvious benefit of a duplex is having the flexibility to flow between units when it is time for guests to gather, play games, and cook together while also providing autonomy for those seeking respite and a bit more privacy. East Beach Escape is the best of both worlds!
Take a bike ride or brisk stroll along the waterfront to the Santa Barbara Zoo, the East Beach volleyball courts, the Andree Clark Bird Refuge, and Stearns Wharf. Stop in Tri-County Produce Co., a beloved open-air market one block over, take a swing in the batting cages down the street, or plan any number of adventures on foot, bike, or by car. Hey why not rent a kayak or surry nearby! There is so much to see and do here; seriously, there is no better starting place than East Beach Escape while visiting Santa Barbara!
East Beach Vista (Front unit) - As the front unit of the duplex, this comfortable, freshly updated two-bedroom, one-bath cottage is equipped for comfort. The kitchen features new appliances and amenities to delight the budding chef. Dine at the generous window seat dining area beneath a picture window that frames views of the ocean and the neighborhood park across the street. With many windows, the living room, with television and comfy seating on two couches, is a bright and sunny space. A couple of Adirondack chairs make a great place to watch sunset out front too. East Beach Bungalow (Back unit) - This cozy cottage will accommodate up to six people with queen-size beds in two bedrooms and a third room with two twin beds, each dressed in fresh coastal colors. A hall bathroom has a large walk-in shower, a soaking tub, and dual sinks. The living room, with television, also features seating in a sunny window for curling up with the latest Santa Barbara Magazine to see where to go next. Or sit down to a delicious meal at a dining table inside or out. Grilling on the patio is always a great option on warm nights, and the detached laundry room off the garage with a full bathroom is easily accessed from this tropical patio. (Link to full profile)
