We had an absolutely fantastic stay at King Arthur’s Rest! This charming 4-bedroom house was the perfect home base for our family’s southwest adventures. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The house is spacious, cozy, and beautifully furnished, with plenty of room for everyone, including the kids. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the en-suite in the master bedroom was a real luxury. The host David was great, checked in on us during our stay and made sure we had everything we needed. He's a professional chef and made recommendations of where to eat and grab a drink - he had great taste! The garden was a highlight for us. The kids loved running around and exploring while we relaxed in the hot tub. The BBQ was perfect for family dinners in the evening, and the two living rooms meant we could all spread out and unwind after a day of exploring. The location couldn’t be better. We loved being just a short walk from Cadbury Castle Hillfort—an amazing place to take in the views and let the kid's imaginations run wild with tales of King Arthur. There’s so much to do in the area. We took the kids to the Haynes Motor Museum, which was a big hit, and spent a day at The Newt, where we enjoyed the beautiful gardens and tasted some incredible apple cider. Everything is within a short drive, making it easy to plan activities for all ages. Overall, one of the best family holidays we've had, and when we come back (which we will!) we'll stay here again for sure!
