Lovely place, however there were many issues dealing with the front desk staff. They were lacking in knowledge of the property and handling the needs of the guests. Our room Wifi issues were met with excuses and "just go to the lounge". They said we could book the a la carte restaurant as part of our package, but it had been closed for some time. The maintenance , bar and especially the buffet staff were exceptional! The adults only serve-yourself lounge was a great place to hangout. The shows and bingo were entertaining.

Location excellent, staff lovely. Shutting down for refurb so pool was a little dirty but the rooms were spotless. Can’t wait to go back after refurb. Food was awful but I like to eat out drinks on AI were fab

I stayed on b&b basis, so the generic breakfast buffet you’d get anywhere (no gluten free options).
The gym doesn’t open until 11am; most holidaymakers would want to get their session in first thing and then enjoy their day.
Reception was very understaffed and queues built up quickly.

Really good after some confusion in booking in

Very pleasant and convenient

I stayed here all inclusive and the hotel was lovely, decent food and the alcohol drink was proper brand San Miguel on Draught and Absolute Vodka, Jack Daniels, Barcardi all included.
3.0
Not worth the price, rather noisy and no facilities at all in the room…. Fine if you are all inclusive, but not when you are relying on having a kettle at least…. Doors slamming and furniture being moved around before 8am meant it wasn’t easy to sleep….

Normally stay at either Fanabe, jacaranda , playaolid or the gf Isabel
Chose this hotel for a change the decision was price driven.
Lovely layout of hotel
Good size room clean with excellent shower
Nice pool area with lots of sun beds
We were all inclusive good choice of food and good variety. We ate in most days which is unusual for us
Staff lovely and wine was dispensed by the bottle as opposed to draft which you often find when going all inc
If I had one issue I would say the Wi-Fi wasn’t the best at my side of the hotel .
Hotel closing for a refurbishment. I wouldn’t have known this as the hotel was in good condition
We would definitely go back.

Nothing is too much trouble for the staff at La Niña. From the excellent restaurant staff, cleaners, reception, bar, spa and pool, absolutely everyone were amazing. Got to say a special thank you to the chef who sorted out my gluten free bread everyday, it was much appreciated. It’s already an impressive hotel so cannot wait to see it when it’s all been refurbished.

This was our second stay at la nina this time staying half board, we couldnt fault it,plenty of choice, food was hot and tasty. Staff work very hard and are really friendly. Another lovely stay.

Excellent stay at La Niña. Lovely friendly staff who couldn’t do enough to make stay enjoyable. Great food, fabulous choice at breakfast and dinner. Thank you for making our stay a good one 😃

Really enjoyed our week at the be live Nina. Staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. We were only bed and breakfast but the food was nicely cooked and there was plenty. More drinks machines would be useful. The room was clean and comfortable. We didn’t use the balcony as it was mostly shaded. Bath looked old and was marked but everything functioned well. There were areas of the hotel and in the rooms that could do with a refurb but on the whole it’s a very nice hotel.
6.0
The place felt a bit grimy, one thing that stuck out was they leave the reception doors open from the pool and sometimes onto the main road which lets in the smell of smoke, not great.
Also over looking our balcony seemed to be a place people from above could throw out cigarettes and on one occasion a door lock casing, landing directly onto us.
That said it’s a holiday on a budget.

Rooms basic. No tea coffee or kettle in room had to pay for it.

Really dated hotel now. Went with my family and had 2 more rooms, all the bathrooms had mould around the sealant and fittings. Resident cockroach living behind the bath panel. Pool area seating and beds are dirty and the bed covers nearly touch the floor when you lie on them. Reception lady was rude. This hotel should be 3 star and no more, all inclusive food in the restaurant was okay though. Heard there’s a 3 month refurb in the new year.

Been here 10 days the hotel was having major works taking place for at least 6 days which was very loud and ment reduced access to pool area. Work continued 8-2pm daily. Hotel spa and hot tub was cold and 1 of the saunas where not working. A lot of the sunbeds around the pool where broken

I cannot say too much as i am still staying here.
The staff , receptionist are very rude , especially the lady named NUNE , she frightenight my wife with her awful nature , my wife would not go to the reception again after speaking with her .
She only asked to see if we could upgrade ! The reason being is that the room we stayed in was awful and full of mould , pictures to prove this .
Also due to mobility issues we asked if we could bring in a scooter, yet again we was turned away with a awful attitude by the reception, being told that the manager mrs Hernandez had now set a rule stating that residents can no longer plug in the scooters ! We actually lost 105 euros as we had already paid for 1 the previous day and therefore had to stay within the hotel due to my wifes disabilities and pay for drinks and food throughout as we are only b&b . It has been a awful stay due to the mobility issue's we faced.
We sent several email's to mrs Hernandez throughtout our stay , also many emails through to the official webmail yet with no reply .
"Emails to prove this "
If any person needs further info i am willing to send pics to prove the trauma we have been through .
Please think twice before staying in this hotel unless
You like to be intimidated, humiliated or like sraying in squalor.

We stayed for 8 nights on the first night we noticed that the toilet in the bedroom water was continued to trickle after flush. When we returned after are first full day for toilet, I’ve got worse so before going out on 3 morning we reported the toilet fault to reception. We reported the same fault on three more occasions but it just got worse in the end we just keep the toilet door closed. I do think this was totally unacceptable in the hotel.

This was our third stay at La Nina and we are planning on going back again in October. We consider it to be great value for money.
6.0
We chose La Nina, due to it’s proximity to our favourite Adeje restaurants & bars & it’s seemingly competitive price. We should have known better & paid more elsewhere.
Food on the All Inclusive was terrible. Poor selection, presentation & the quality of the food was low, with many items unrecognisable & unlabelled. There was a distinct lack of vegetables on offer with lunch & dinner, which was bad news for us as we were trying to at least enjoy the illusion of eating healthy.
We’ve gone All Inclusive in many hotels across the world & have always been spoilt for food choice. Not so at La Nina. The only benefit was that we ate a lot less than we may have, putting on a few less holiday pounds.
Bar selection was weak and we chose to go out an drink elsewhere.
The hotel stated that it provided free Wifi in the reception, which is fair enough, but this was prohibitively slow (even for Spain) & kept cutting out. After kicking you out, you had to go back through the registration procedure again to get back online. This made even the simplest online tasks painfully slow or impossible. During our 5 nights, the Wifi was completely dead for 2-3 days. The nice reception staff said the problem with their service provider, who was looking into it, but I couldn’t help notice that their “Pay as you go” terminals were online all the time during this alleged outage. Co-incidence? As I need constant & reliable connection for business, I ended up paying to use their terminals all the time.

Our first time at an all inclusive Hotel - we had to leave deposits for many items and also they were charging for coffees - drinks etc., - after 12 at night etc. Also the Hotel Staff were on strike for 2 days and they were protesting outside the Hotel from 7am in the morning!!! Definately would not recommend this Hotel.
2.0
This is a half decent 3 star hotel but definitely not 4 star.
NEGITIVE:
There were no sun beds, as people had reserved them all with towels despite being told not to do so which meant we either had to go to the beach or sun bathe in bar chairs - very frustrating and not fun!
We did question if the hotel may be in some sort of financial difficulty as everything was chargeable even though it was meant to be 'all inclusive' - for example, if you want a coffee its 1.50 Euros (E), cocktails available at an additional cost, to hire the remote for the TV or a beach towel you had to pay? Even to change your beach towels +E1 each?! A pool view +E4 per day, a sea view E10pn. Plus the bar stopped serving included drinks at 11pm so after that you had to pay for your drinks and there was no water in our room - this was never expressed when we booked the trip?
But the worst thing was we went on holiday to relax but with 7.30am staff protests lasting the morning we had a rude awakening! Fog horns, whistles, people screaming and shouting into microphones was unacceptable?! We were on the 9th floor and it was as if they were in our room it was so loud! When we complained to reception they said there was nothing they could do to stop them - not helpful!
Advice: If you do go make sure you print the hotel voucher before you arrive, we didn't know we had to and it was soooooo awkward at reception as they wouldn't let us check in until we had the vouchers.
POSITIVE:
Good location.

This hotel is lovely, great amenities, all inclusive, but alot of extra surcharges! The rooms let down the hotel as it has a lovely grand entrance, defo 4 star, but rooms 3 star. Restaurant was big and roomy. Always plenty to choose from. Themed nights too.

Great value fully inclusive. Nothing fancy but very good overall

Just returned from a great holiday with my son and parents. The hotel was great. Nice and clean, good food selection most nights. Good entertainment for all ages each evening. It's really family friendly and my son met up with other boys of his age and they had a great time taking part in all the activities the hotel offered as well as this the hotel was safe enough for them to enjoy the games room without being supervised 110%. Good positioning of the hotel also being in the centre of lots of restaurants, bars, close to the marina and shops. Would I return? I think so!
6.0
I only stayed 3 nights, and found the location was excellent.
Apart from one breakfast I did not use the inclusive facilities so can't really comment
My room was very clean but a little tired.
To operate the tv you have to pay a small deposit which is refunded upon departure
Towels were changed daily and the bed was made up for you.

We arrived at this hotel for our first visit with an open mind and not knowing what to really expect. It is in a really great central location and we were greeted by a friendly receptionist who was very helpful and efficient and quickly despatched us to our room. we were given all the relevant details about our all inclusive package and equipment we needed ie pool towels, safe key, tv remote etc. On arriving at the room we found it to be adequate but absolutely spotless, the sea view we had paid for was not quite what we had expected mainly a street view with a side view of the sea but at least we could see it! Our room was cleaned daily to a really high standard.
The pool area is very good but even better are the roof top solariums and this is where we spent most of our time when in the hotel.
All the staff we encountered were great and really helpful.
The big let downs of this hotel are (1) the food which at times was truly dreadful and often hot food is dangerously tepid or cold, (2) the gym equipment most of which does not work or is falling to bits and (3) the extremely limited choice of drinks in the all inclusive package.
Apart from a terrible storm during which when I think Tenerife got a years worth of rain the weather was glorious and we did truly have a very good holiday. The difficulty is because of the downsides I have mentioned I can not really recommend this hotel you will just have to make up your own minds.
