Lovely stay

The location was amazing

Only one bathroom, although we knew this when booking Paid £48 for parking, which was reimbursed

Amazing location. Super clean, slick & modern. You will love it.

The location was pretty amazing. You couldn't get much better really. The apartment was slick, modern, comfortable & very clean. Our host was super friendly. Really liked the fob key entry - so much easier than fiddling around with keys.

There wasn't a microwave which was a little sad as I like to warm my milk in the morning. But super minor.

The stay was good and has no trouble at all

Kitchen not as we expected. It’s a holiday home and we thought they must keep some breakfast items and fruits and bottled water.

Cosy cottage right in the centre of York with convenient parking nearby

The location was fantastic with nice breakfast cafés, pubs and restaurants literally on the doorstep. All main monuments are within walking distance. The car park was extremely convenient. The property was extremely comfortable and the outside patio is nice weather permitting. I appreciated being met by someone rather than just having a keybox.

Amazing apartment in an amazing location!

Decor was lovely and it was so clean. Little touches like blankets to sit in the courtyard with and sweets and biscuits were a great touch.

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like.

Excellent location, nicely decorated compact property

Really excellent, central location. Property was nicely decorated inside and well equipped including tea and coffee provided on arrival.

The mattresses were not the best, and the headboard on the bed would bang on the wall with the slightest movement of the bed. The bedrooms and bathroom are also quite small - it was fine for two, but would be quite cosy for 4.

Excellent option in York

Everything! As pre-arranged, the access was facilitated by a most welcoming person. The location could not be better!!Beyond the convenience of being able to park almost 'nexdoor ' in the center of York (shopping center public parking using a provided pass), just coming out of the alleyway where the apartment is located, one is in the Shambes. Walking distance to anything central, with buses, supermarket and other shops close by . The apartment is very well kept, in pristine condition, lovely and comfortable spaces, and with a very well equiped kitchen (washing and drying a bonus). Host very responsive (to a faulty batery triggering the smoke alarm late at night).

Good location

It was in an excellent location near restaurants and shops and the host greeted us and showed us where to park.

Rooms we very hot, beds were terrible and shower was extremely small.

Fantastic Owner and Service

I filled this in as if I had stayed because unfortunately only a few days before our planned break, I suffered a heart attack. I expected to loose my money and mini holiday but I was amazed and so grateful to be offered to postpone my holiday . The owner has been so lovely and understanding I wanted to tell my story as there are not many people who would have gone this and being so flexible and kind.

Perfect location

Beautiful and modern apartment in a fantastic location just a couple of minutes walk from the Shambles. Easy check in, friendly host and parking included at a nearby carpark.

Really minor but maybe blackout blinds as there's a street light right outside the bedroom window.

Most ideal location.

The location was absolutely superb and quick to get to any of the attractions. Centrally located in the city it's the ideal location for the attractions, restaurants, and stroll around the city. With a supermarket just around the corner, it's quick to hop over to the shop for the essentials. The flat was modern, neat, and nicely set up with ample space for the family. The lounge was great and comfortable for catching up on some reading. Both bedrooms have enough place to store and hang up clothes. The large windows allow for plenty of light to fill the flat.

Ideally, a microwave would have come in handy. Most places have them, so was quite surprised not to have one in the flat. With young kids, the microwave would have been handy for quick microwavable dinners. The shower cubicle is tiny, and really tight for space. The bathroom could really do with a basin shelf. With four family members and now where to put a toothbrush anywhere it was a little frustrating. The towel warmer was faulty and did not work, luckily the weather was good for us so we could dry our towels around the bannisters.

Great location, great facilities, lovely property.

The staff were really helpful and arranged to meet with the keys very quickly in person. The person giving me the keys was lovely and showed me around and gave me instructions on how things worked, parking etc. The location was fantastic, a couple of minutes walk to main attractions. The cottage was very clean. Possibly the cleanest accommodation I’ve ever stayed in.

It’s a really central location close to coffee shops and bars, this means it could be a bit noisy. Night time was fine but around 5-6am both mornings Bin lorries emptied the glass bottles from nearby bars which woke me. I’m a light sleeper though and it didn’t wake either child.

amazing short trip

The apartment was in a great spot, close to everything or within walking distance. It was super clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The bed was comfortable and the apartment was accommodating for my toddler along with being a safe environment for him to play and also for my gran who is registered blind. would highly recommend this apartment to anyone planning to visit York. great communications from the hosts as well! 10/10

There was parking which is good for a city center, the position was great for exploring York The appartmeny was warm and comfy even though the weather was snowing

there could put a shelf in the bathroom at the side near the basin, the toaster had seen better days, little additions that would make this georgous appartment even better.

fantastic trip with perfect accommodation that was homely and in a great location.

the property itself was exactly as described. Location was amazing. No more than 5 min walk from everything we needed and as we had a baby it was great for popping back for feeds and changes

Nothing! A blackout blind in the bedroom at the top of the stairs would be great as the curtains didn’t quite cover the light from the lamppost, but that’s a minor issue.

Brilliant stay , excellent property , would recommend

We stayed in the Wesley apartment as the Mitchell not available due to change of dates. Similar property with same company which was extremely comfortable with nice touches such as fresh fruit, sweets and fresh tulips in the front room. The bedrooms a nice size , comfortable beds and bathroom with lovely toiletries for our use. The landlords were excellent , nothing was too much trouble and they made sure we were happy throughout our stay. The property very central with free parking in the multi storey at rear of property

We can’t think of anything we didn’t like and would definitely stay here again when in York.

Fabulous cottage; excellent location and will definitely be recommending it to others.

The cottage was very clean, it had everything you would need in it for a City Break; it was a beautiful cottage and very homely. The location was perfect and the hosts Sally and Chris went over and above to ensure our stay was perfect. Absolutely loved it and will be returning in the future.

I really can’t think how the cottage could be improved. Maybe some people would prefer to have a key safe rather than having to arrange to meet someone but in our case that was a bonus as Chris was very helpful when we arrived.

Ideal central location.

A lovely little house in a quiet location but within easy walking distance of the main sights in the historic centre of York. Everything was clean and fresh. The house was stylish and warm. The owner/manager was friendly and easy to reach.

Amazing house, Beautiful inside, loved the lay out, Perfect location for everything

The only thing I can say is the kitchen was a little chilly but that is only because the radiator is situated just outside the entrance into the kitchen

Great location and not a far walk from all of the best spots in York. Lovely host who was super helpful with any queries

lovely owner who helped when there was an issue at the property. The property is in such a great location and not very far from all of the great spots! very cosy and had everything that we needed.

The issue with the shower not working properly although that could not be helped.

Fantastic location, lovely property and lovely hosts.

The property was very clean, cost and fantastically located, right around the corner from the Shambles. Sally is an extremely pleasant host and very quick to answer any questions we had.
