This newly renovated property, is bright, modern, and classy, with an island overlooking the living area with a beautiful pantry on one side, and laundry on the other. The bathroom has a unique handmade glass door, that matches the glass barn door in the bedroom - this space is welcoming and comfortable for your stay in Halifax. It is located in the basement with a backyard shared entrance . The backyard has a deck and is accessible to guests; this is the only shared space with the upstairs tenant. Additionally, free parking is available for guests on the street in front of the home ! The home is located close toshopping malls, grocery stores, restaurants, and public transit. The Hydrostone and Quinpool roads are accessible by foot - a 20-minute walk and for those who want to explore Downtown Halifax, the Waterfront, Point Pleasant Park, and the Public Gardens are only a 10-minute car, bus, or taxi ride away!

Very beautiful small flat, Ideal for a couple planning to visit Halifax. We attended a wedding in the city so we also had a friend staying with us on the sofa bed. Flat was squeaky clean and the layout was thought through. It was very nice to see that the owner is thinking about the details like condiments in the kitchen or even spare toothbrushes in the bathroom. We were using Uber to get downtown (around 15$) but I know that there are busses close by. Street was very nice and quiet. The only thing I'd say that like most basement flats we could hear a lot of noise from upstairs. It didn't bother us but light sleepers should take that under advisement. I'd happily book again if I will ever plan to visit Halifax again.

My two adult children, in their twenties, stayed for a few days before a family trip. They said it was great. Good location, could walk and bike around easily. Comfortable for them. Great kitchen for meal prep. Very satisfied!

Great communications with host. Pleasant area, central to all the tourist places we wanted to go to, clean and quiet. Laundry facilities were a nice bonus!

The property was true to the likeness of the pictures and very close to shopping malls and downtown. We were greeted with a bottle of wine and extra toiletries such as toothbrushes and toothpaste in case we left them at home. Having a washer and dryer in the unit was a bonus.
