The location of the place was nice if you are here to visit Mt, Baker which you most likely are. It was nice to have a kitchen with the necessities but bring your own silverware. It has a small fridge that is old but was cold and worked fine. There is no air conditioning so be aware when visiting in the summer. We travel so much and always have air conditioning so I was thrown off a bit by this. It would have been nice to have a fan available in the unit. Overall, you get what you pay for and there are limited options in the area. Read the amenities closely as perhaps we did not read closely enough. I don't think they falsely advertised anything and they communicated well and very nice in person. Personally, I wouldn't come back to this location in the summer, but would probably stay here in the winter.

The building is pretty old, and the interior was also pretty dated. The inside was clean/cozy, the kitchennet (mini fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, pots ans pans, 4 coil stoves) made cooking so easy. The shower had great water pressure and it was surprisingly pleasant. Overall the stay was somewhat positive BUT the wifi was terrible, and it was almost a false advertisement.. it was an open shared wifi, so if everyone is using it, it takes forever to load anything. No cell service leaves you with wifi only at the lodge, so this was a true struggle for us.

This condo was small, but had the kitchenette we wanted and was close to the Mt Baker/ Mt Shuksan area. I wish it had TV service, but alas it could only be used for DVDs. The bed was comfy, the midsize fridge useable, and great water pressure in shower (less and less common nowadays). The privately-owned condo was rented out by a rental company which bumps the price up somewhat, but with the Hotels.com loyalty perks it was worth it. The rental company could take some marketing lessons however: much of the language in the confirmation paperwork and at the condo is threatening, saying such things as they will use the credit card of record for fines and to tack on cleaning fees; it definitely makes you feel like you are hostage as they have your C-C on file. That is one reason why I might not use that outfit again. That said - the stay was enjoyable and met our needs, and we do not think we incurred any additional charges. Loved the area.
