This stunning mid-century modern masterpiece sleeps 10 comfortably and is right in the heart of Palm Springs in the famed Tahquitz River Estates neighborhood. This is not your cookie cutter rental property. Villa Mesquite is truly unique and every detail has been thought of from the thoughtfully curated décor and artwork to the anti-microbial door handles and faucets. Enjoy fresh, clean air both inside and outside with a whole house filtration system. Drink and cook with only the best water with a built in Reverse Osmosis water filtration system. These are just a few of the many amenities that set this property apart from the rest.
All guests sleep on top-of-the-line memory foam mattresses in all 5 of the gracious and handsomely appointed bedrooms and our guests can choose from an assortment of pillows we offer for all the different sleepers you might have in your group. If you must work while you are here, we have a very fast, reliable and secure mesh network set up for our guests, and that incredible Wi-Fi coverage will even work outside.
Speaking of outside, the yard of Villa Mesquite is the real showstopper here. The massive and sparkling saltwater pool is so inviting. Enjoy an extra-large and separate tanning and soaking shelf and relax and stargaze at night in the large and soothing hot tub. There are several dining, lounging, and sitting areas to accommodate your entire group and we feature not one but two fire pit areas. The nights here are truly mesmerizing with very little light pollution in this neighborhood to enjoy our gorgeous desert skies. Not to mention the breathtaking San Jacinto Mountains are practically right in your backyard and our guests will enjoy jaw dropping mountain views from just about every angle of the private and serene grounds.
Chefs both amateur and professional will be in love with our stunner of a kitchen with every appliance and tool you can think of to make mouthwatering meals. There is plenty of space to spread out, prep, and serve. There are two large ovens along with a large convection microwave, 36” induction cooktop, a massive Sub-Zero refrigerator and freezer, extra cooling drawers, a separate built-in ice maker, the list goes on and on! Feel like cooking and dining Al Fresco? Not a problem here at Villa Mesquite! There is a brand new, 4 -burner top of the line Weber BBQ grill for you to prepare some amazing meals while enjoying unbelievable views in this serene and private setting. Want to go out? Of course you do! This home is centrally located in South Palm Springs close to the downtown Palm Canyon area featuring a plethora of wonderful restaurants, amazing art galleries and fun, exciting shops.
Feel like some exercise and an adventure? Walk off our driveway and a block away is the entrance to The Tahquitz Creek Footbridge and Trail. The beautiful and famed Tahquitz Canyon Trail Loop trailhead is just a mile from the house also.
As is typical with mid century modern homes, you walk in and are met with a grand and spacious open floorplan which includes 2 separate living areas, a large and open dining area and of course the large and open kitchen. Got some guests coming that might need a little more privacy or quiet? There is a separate ADU connected to the house that can be closed off from the rest of the house. It features its own bedroom with backyard and extraordinary views of the mountains and a separate living area with a full kitchen.
This is one of the few rentals you will find that feels like home while still offering upscale and unsurpassed amenities.
